We are the last team in the British Isles that you would bet upon staying up. We have no fight, no spirit for a fight and have a very poor team.

he couldn’t get us promoted with AC Milan’s current centre half, Chelsea’s and England pretty much best player and one of the best free kick takers playing for us and then went to Chelsea and did absolutely nothing and Tuchel came in with the same squad and is on the verge of the champions league final and ripping up the league too..

It's not worked out, in most cases I have agreed with his appointments and transfers but they have not come to fruition. I think the biggest mistakes lie in recent years appointing Cocu and signing Rooney with what appears to have been a prerequisite to be manager sooner or later, this for me is what has destroyed the club, we were at a cross road when Lampard left and all we have done is take wrong turns since.

This would be a reasonably funny joke if we weren't in danger of relegation and on our biggest loss streak since 2011. Poor Rooney, expected to keep us from league 1. Such cruel, over demanding fans we have. 

Cocu had to go, results were poor but he did at least help to create millions of pounds worth of assets from the academy
Rooney’s results are just as bad (worse) and he has wiped the value of those assets right back down. Look at Sibley, Bird and Knight compared to a year ago. Genuinely frightening regression. Probably worth £20m + a year ago, we’d not get £5m for the three of them now. 
Every minute longer he spends at the club is creating more damage. I genuinely believe that to be true.

I thought it was less bad and inept as Preston but still unacceptable...Brum looked clearly the better side and could have won by more. Their players looked clear on their roles, confident and motivated and they had a Manager with the nous and ability to change things when he needed to. Unfortunately we didn’t.....

I am sure you could say the same about the Brum players before Bowyer took over, Manager has to ultimately take responsibility for performances and results....

So as soon as key player gets injured next season he's off the hook of it goes tits up?  Its his job as a manager to deal with that, I won't accept that the loss of one player is the reason for what we're seeing at the moment? The fact that bielik is injured doesn't excuse the performances against Preston and today? That's not the lack of bielik, its the lack of any organisation or any tactical knowledge or experience 

This is now way, way worse than under Cocu. Under Cocu it was garbage but it was garbage because the players were not technical enough to do what he wanted. I don’t even think Rooney knows what he wants from the players right now.

I’m not a McClaren bum licker but I appreciate what he did with us on both occasions. The decision to sideline him seems bizarre especially when our form has been so dire recently. 
  
Without inside knowledge I’d hazard a guess that Rooney did everything in his powers to stab Cocu in the back (I’m not a Cocu fan either). Bringing Rooney to the club could be Mel’s biggest mistake.
