SaffyRam reacted to Cisse in A call to action
I'm in also for all that is not peaceful and I'm borderline with being in with the illegal stuff.

SaffyRam got a reaction from jimtastic56 in Banners for the Sheff Utd game?
If we want to protest, we’re on the tele next week v Notts.

SaffyRam got a reaction from Andicis in A call to action
The Boro away game is a month away. We’re on the tele next week against Notts Florist ?
Peaceful protest there before, after, during the game (or all three?) of some description?

SaffyRam reacted to S8TY in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
I can honestly say I hate Gibson for this it’s pathetic reading the statement it is the vultures Boro and two Bob Wycombe trying to claim against us …The EFL scared to stand up to Gibson and say we’ve been punished ….hate is a strong word but it’s how I feel

SaffyRam reacted to Leeds Ram in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
I wasn't going to bother to go to Boro away but I definitely am now this is still dragging on just to get behind the lads and hope I get to see us batter that nonentity of a football club on their own turf.

SaffyRam reacted to Indy in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
In the same way as the EFL thought they understood stadium valuation better than one of the world’s biggest commercial property values, and had a better grasp of auditable accountancy practice than a succession of auditors and accountants. A definite pattern emerging.

I’m reading it as Q think the EFL have no legal right full stop to hold us up from leaving administration. I would trust Q as insolvency/admin experts to have a far better grasp of the law than that bunch of donkeys.

Angry!
EFL simply not fit for purpose!

It's out in the open now - what the EFL are doing goes against the law. Plus what are HMRC going to say when they see those two chancers get the money that should be theirs (ours!)?
Note to the EFL: "I Fought The Law and The Law Won!"

Feeling better now that the Admin have called out The EFL. When the likes of Nixon are tweeting against them and admin saying they are going against 'statute' then maybe we can get some movement from the scumbags.

SaffyRam reacted to Philmycock in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
If Gibson & Wycombe are so confident in their claims, let our take over go ahead then sue us.
Only they won't will they, because everyone 100% knows they'd lose, so they do it now when we're on our knees, circling like vultures over a wounded animal, with the EFL complicit in their hideous actions.
Karma will be a beautiful thing, I can't wait for that day to come.

SaffyRam reacted to JfR in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
It's a bit awkwardly worded, but I interpreted it as saying that the EFL seem to not be acting in accordance with the rules. "Notwithstanding" means something akin to "in spite of", so to me it reads like they're effectively saying "the EFL are advising us a compromise in the disputes isn't allowed, even though statute says otherwise."

SaffyRam reacted to SBW in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
"The difficulty and currently, in our view, the last remaining significant obstacle is to deal with certain claims that are very much disputed but which we are being advised by the EFL cannot be currently compromised notwithstanding statute says otherwise"
I am reading that as Q alleging the EFL are breaching their own rules? Although it's a terribly put together sentence.

Sorry, I don’t understand how the EFL can legally stop an entity from exiting administration. If I was a creditor of the club I’d be furious.

SaffyRam reacted to eccles the ram in Sheffield United (H) Matchday Thread Saturday 15th January 3pm
I think that as soon as the match is ended we stay in the ground singing our hearts out for (say half an hour) until some of the gutter press print something positive about this club and what it means to this city. I know people leave early for whatever reason but surely tomorrow's match could be our last ever as DCFC (I sincerely hope that this is not the case but its looking bleaker by the hour). Up the Rams!

SaffyRam reacted to ITSD in Sheffield United (H) Matchday Thread Saturday 15th January 3pm
Not been able to get down yet this season because of work, money etc. Going to do everything I can to get down tomorrow. Hopefully a fair number of other people will have the same thought.

SaffyRam reacted to Ellafella in Big Responsibility on us fans tomorrow...
...to not take an air of gloom into the stadium tomorrow and let it pervade and transmit to the players. We need to go "once more to the breach dear friends...stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood, disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage; then lend the eye a terrible aspect;...".
Really need to lift up those players, remain steadfast, look the storm in the eye and make the noise of a united fanbase. We have nothing to lose. Just keep that support going; it helps that there'll be a big crowd of Blades there who may well spark us off.
Show the football World and the EFL that we will not be cowed. Convince Rooney we are still behind him 100%.

SaffyRam reacted to Zag zig in Wayne Rooney
If Wayne Rooney is standing on the touch line tomorrow (no reason to believe he won’t be), I hope he gets massive encouragement from the fans backing and sends us with a rallying call post match.
This man (lucky to get the job or not), has been a shining light in a crap storm being thrown from ALL angles.
God I hope he sticks with us, because we bloody need him to keep positive and give everyone belief.

SaffyRam reacted to Vienna in Playing with People's lives
I know that we shouldn't care so much, but genuinely believe that the EFL, Steve Gibson et al. may well be playing with people's lives now. Unlike many I don't blame either for the mess than DCFC are in - that's down solely to Mel Morris BUT the aforementioned will I fear, by their actions cause severe problems to many, even to the point of the worst conceivable outcome.
Yes its only football but to many thousands its their life.
To those that harbour such feelings seek help and support from those you trust.
To those of you who have it within your gift to prevent real human suffering, (if any of you are reading this, which you won't be!!) think about the consequences of your greed and act accordingly!!
