BaaLocks got a reaction from MikeS in RamsTrust
Anyone can join Ramstrust, anyone can stand for any position in Ramstrust - it is anything but a closed shop. And I kind of agree with @sage on this one, it sometimes feels like fans expect to be asked to approve everything they do but it seems there are very few who actually want to do the work needed to write up the statements, engage with the club and fans. If you don't like how Ramstrust, or any other supporter body, operates then join and help it be what you want it to be. If you don't, you've kind of snookered yourself. But the point remains, even if many don't feel it is the case, RT never can claim to be more than the voice of their members. And I don't think the club or anyone who takes a moment to think about it could see it any other way.

I've recently joined Ramstrust, a very quick and simple process for £2. Suprisingly cheap. I'd suggest everybody should be joining, making their opinion heard. If Ramstrust had 20,000 members then they would be getting a lot more attention from the powers that be!

The Board is elected by Rams Trust members. Anyone who supports the aims and objectives of Rams Trust can become a member. There is an AGM where elections take place.
This is fairly standard procedure for a society. Members of the public don't get to elect Board members for any society, charity, company. Their members, shareholders do.

This is a forum, that means if you have an opinion it is open on a forum.
Hence why I am on here and decided to voice it. So as I made that statement (which I am entitled too) which is my thinking at this time and the question by Jim was on the forum, so was answered. So hence me clearing or Airing my thoughts on an open forum.
Angie pointed me in the right direction and I have parted with my 200 bright new pennies... so thank you for your concern. From now on I will be able to read the minutes.
You have a lovely day.

We have a case of Schrodinger's Supporters Trust - they are simultaneously silent but also speaking people's behalf at the same time.
On this point of them speaking on your behalf, can you or any others show me when they have actually done this? When they have claimed to be the voice of all Derby County fans - including those that are not RT members? Do you have that somewhere because it really might help others understand the need for you to clear your chest so.
But glad to see you have found a solution to getting access to the minutes of the group, and it seems that all you have to do is find two hundred bright new pennies and join the group. Who'd 'ave thunk?

How much influence do Rams Trust have/hope to have, Under MM very little to non, New owners could be in situ within a couple of months, They'll have their own board of directors, CEO, Secretary, Chairman/Woman ect ect, What is Rams Trust here for, How many members are there in Rams Trust, What have you been doing for the last 5/6 years, DCFC have been put into Admin where were you, Rams Trust come along every now and then with a brief letter/comment through our pretty poor local newspaper the DET.
One of your Senior members tweeted a comment about the colour of Italians...how does that sit with yourself.

BaaLocks got a reaction from Leicester Ram in St Clod’s Day
As a friend said to me over the weekend "Norwich are going to take your record this year" I wanted to suggest the initiation of St Claude's Day, the date on which no club can undertake (or equal) our points tally of eleven points. Named in honour of a player more symbolic of our lack of preparedness, ability, and commitment than any other (a statement of recognition in itself) in that 07/08 season the race is now on to predict on what day it will fall this season.
In previous years St Claude's Day has fallen on the following weekends, last season's Covid affected schedule aside it has only three times made it past New Years Day.
2020/21: 4th March (Sheffield United)
2019/20: 22nd December (Watford)
2018/19: 27th February (Huddersfield)
2017/18: 13th December (Swansea)
2016/17: 19th December (Sunderland)
2015/16: 18th January (Aston Villa)
2014/15: 29th December (Leicester)
2013/14: 26th December (Sunderland)
2012/13: 2nd January (QPR)
2011/12: 31st December (Blackburn)
2010/11: 27th November (Wolves and West Ham)
2009/10: 19th December (Portsmouth)
2008/9: 8th November (Spurs)
So, on what day will St Claude's Day fall on this year? I predict it will be the fourth time it has made it past New Years Day but I still think last week in February our record will be safe for one more season.

Tony Fernandes said it best at QPR - there's no better feeling than hearing 20,000 people chanting your name. I'd personally argue there's no better feeling than not hemorraghing £2m a month into a vanity project, but horses for courses eh!
