Bob The Badger got a reaction from Raich Carter in What's the most valuable thing you have ever lost (financially or sentimentally)
Well I feel a bit silly now.
I mentioned it to the wife last night and she said 'I put it ion my jewellery box when we came back for sake keeping after you asked me to look after it you stupid top hat'
She then went upstairs and brought it down.
So...er....anyway, for me it would be a Roy McFarland shirt I had.
Anybody want to buy a Tag Heuer?

I heard about a bloke who spent £80m on a stadium that went into administration. Poor bloke might only get £20m back.

I'm still raging about the mountain bike that I had pinched whilst i was at university. That and South Wales' police sending me a letter saying "err we haven't found it, so unless you've got something else, we consider this matter closed". It was nice one. First "proper" mountain bike i'd owned.
However, I think we all need to spare a thought for the NFT bro who lost his money by having his ape NFT stolen from him.

We were robbed in Miami. Laptops, passports, clothes, electronics etc. all gone. Financially the insurance company compensated us, but for my mum, losing her engagement and wedding rings she had for over 30 years was the bitter blow for sentimental reasons.

I know what you mean, that's why we still have two left!
I have no clue why, but we're saving them. Utterly ludicrous when you think about it.

The usual suspects that I'm *guessing* you like.
Breaking Bad
True Detective (I think it was you mentioned that too)
Mindhunter
The Wire
Now I realise how stupid it was to say I had a top 3 or 4.
We should start a separate thread where people can list their top 10, but even that would be tough

You may want to drop mentioning MENSA.

I think the emphasis has shifted considerably.
Until omicron, I think the focus was on saving lives and helping the NHS.
Now, I think lives lost are so low compared to Delta and in conjunction with the vaccine and treatment, that it's all about the NHS not getting overwhelmed
The big concern is not people dying as much as it's the combination of people in hospital with covid and staff off sick or isolating meaning regular accidents and emergencies as well as routine screening/preventative medicine are suffering.
The latter may not be apparent for months or years and it will be almost impossible to measure accurately.
One thing I will say, is that I now know maybe half a dozen people who have had it and from them and what I have read it *seems* to be slightly worse than a normal cold whilst not being as bad as the flu.
If it can stay there, then I think we will start getting back to normal, but I think care and caution are called for in the short-term.
Glad you're feeling better matey!

Bob The Badger got a reaction from Mr. P in Rate the last film you saw partie deux
Don't Look Up
Brilliant acting from a truly stellar cast. Clever script, some very funny parts and an interesting pisstake on Trump and fake news.
I just felt it was a tad too long and it wasn't quite as good as it could have been.
Still pretty good though and I enjoyed it as did Mrs Badger.

Buy a ticket via your CC then after the game everybody contacts their bank to request a chargeback saying they didn't get what they paid for.
Everybody will lose eventually but it'll wrap Boro up in paperwork for months.
Yours sincerely,
