Perhaps I’m being arrogant/entitled/both but Derby County should be a top one team in League One and if we’re not the manager is also heavily responsible for this.

That when Dawes had a turn and demanded people don't send in negative texts.  He should listen to his own ramblings during a match once in a while.  It's up to him if he reads em but not acceptable to read them and chastise the sender in his position. If no-one sends him texts to moan about, it won't take much for the BBC to send him a P45.  They love local radio at the minute.

If you get hit in the head, head a football going 30 mph 10,000 times or take 20 thundering tackles per Rugby game clashing heads and getting concussed 10 times in 5 years, it will have an affect.  Suppose the risks are known now.  I've also seen someone lose an eye to a piece of flying wood and another friend lose a thumb and have a nerve stripped out whilst working as tree surgeons.  There's risk to every trade and some are much better paid to match the additional chance of injury.  There choice.

There's been a lot of this 'imminent' signing of players that haven't appeared.  Is it the curse of Quantuma.  Do we need to someone to come and pee in all 4 corners of Warnes office like we did with the pitch in 1946.

Warne has been very vocal that he's brought in players with the minerals to play in front  of a large crowd and all that entails.  He's even passed on some players he liked as he wasn't sure that had the right character.  That being the case, it shouldn't bother performance and they should raise their game rather than curl back into a shell.
