We done this since Liam became involved in the team...everything out to the left and right nothing through the middle....which becomes extremely predictable.

That's a fair point tbh. For me, Nadal's haul at the French is as close to unsurpassable as you can get though. Even with Bjorg winning 6 by he was 25 he'd have had to win another 8 just to get even.. that in a time when people didn't win slams past the age of 30 i think?

The sides McCarthy had at Wolves and Sunderland played really good football as did his Ireland team.  At Ipswich he had not a pot to pee in and had to set up his side accordingly. Effective, as the same squad went down like a sack of s*** once he left and he had them in the top half most of the time.   He's a good manager.  

Tell them that in 135 years Derby haven't finished below them in the league, you could also add that their highest ever league finish was 5th in Division 2 which we would consider a very mediocre season.  Maybe get him a cake and some party poppers to celebrate their achievement. Really rub it in.

That was the one were the team who weren't in our league when we broke a 'retrospective' rule made up after the event, got themselves relegated by allowing Wisdom to score  his only goal in 6 years in injury time .  Then they asked for a pay out.  Need to beat those c*** wombles. 

I can't understand the not wanting top flight football.  I understand it's not much fun if your not competing at all but most clubs can.  Not sure if the 07/08 season has done that much damage those who only had that season there can't compute it but we've been there a lot and on the whole we've been a good side at regular periods.

I do wonder if everyone is still enjoying League 1 now the reality has kicked in that this will be no walk in the park.

Just my opinion and i'm sure i'll get laughed out of the forum for it but Cocu/Rosenior's brand of football is more boring than Rowett's poohouse tactics. 
i don't care if we only have 10% possession if we score 2+ goals a match and can defend competently.

I felt embarrassed to have won that game, wouldn't if it happened again though against them!
