It is a bonus, and considering our recent form ( 1 win in 5) it's fortunate that we are still in the mix. However we have to improve quickly, and we would need to win the majority of our home games and get a fair few away draws, to get to something like 42 points. What the other clubs in the relegation fight do is out of our control, except when we play them.

I don’t care about swearing but I care about racism, inciteful behaviour to a steward/police, violence of any type or any type of throwing stuff onto the pitch or the opposition.
That is where I would draw the line and to be quite Frank, anyone who does that (with or without alcohol) are not proper supporters and wouldn’t be welcome to games in my opinion.

If NATO were anything like the EFL I'd take a guess the cold war might not have ended so well.
As for Ukraine, it's a bit more complicated than "well NATO expanding is the cause of this" or "Putin is just pure evil" but we do have a situation where face saving is going to be important to de-escalate the situation.
I'm all for sending Steve Gibson to the border areas of Ukraine to resolve the situation. probably with a big bright red outfit to wear.

Of course no one knows how damaging an individual defeat it is. But if we’re relegated by 3pts come the end of the season, it’s not this result that did it, it’s losing away to Peterborough and Barnsley.
the next game against Peterborough, as you say, the pressure is on, big time. If we lose that one, then it’s not looking good. Those are the games we need to be winning.
I wouldn’t have thought Wayne went to boro with the intention of losing, but we all knew that a win there, against a team currently in good firm and in the top 6, was the least likely of possible outcomes.

I'll wager come the end of season clubs who miss out on promotion and clubs who are relegated will be having their legal teams look into anything that can help their cause for what they think is right

Given how critical Nixon has been of the EFL's role in all of this, I think the article is his way of letting them know what a can of worms they have opened up by not intervening to stop this sort of stuff going on.
Plus we know our administration team are equally frustrated with them  so easy to see where the article has come from.

Not our day but hope Rooney come out after and says it how it is.
Mike Dean a disgrace whose leniency encouraged Boro to take chunks out of Derby and Boro are a completely shameless club from top to bottom.

It might be bloody-minded of me, but if Quantuma have (finally) been allowed to name a PB - after the EFL & Boro blocked it for 2 months, IMHO in a calculated fashion, and caused squad decimation and the prospect of liquidation, I'd be minded to decline the EFL bustards.
I hope the fan groups demand a prompt approval of the PB. And an apology.
The EFL fudged and farted their way along the transfer window, on strings manipulated by Gibson, until the damage was done and last-ditch interventions via MPs etc were required.
Maybe the EFL are now conscious of the attention that will turn upon themselves and they want to 'make friends' with fan groups perceived to be capable of wielding influence over the DCFC fanbase. No anti-EFL petitions, please, look how we solved it for you!

They were deducted 25 points after going into administration, leaving them 20 points adrift at the bottom of the table.
They finished 6th, 24 points ahead of 9th and 10th.
Their joint second top goalscorer with 8 goals?

Gibson will always be known as the c**t who tried his best to shaft our club. We can blame him for the delay in takeover that meant we lost some of our players before we could extend their contracts.

Not a bad idea, but I think ticket money raises more for the club rather than the 10% we get from shirt sales.

I want to see that printed somewhere on next seasons shirts and beyond. Back of the collar, inside the shirt under the neckline, on the sleeve.
Yes I said next season, fully aware of the current situation.
It's not club generated marketing to sell tickets, it's not a club generated ethos that's drawn criticism.
It's words the fans have used in response to performances on the pitch.
It's words the fans have used as they are proud of this team, proud of the team that plays in Pride Park.
Let's not just have it printed on the shirt, but plastered around Moor Farm, the changing rooms at Pride Park.
Make it visible and not forget why it's on the shirt.
All we can ever ask for is to give 100%, let's not allow the players to forget that either, it's not just a 21/22 situational inspiring song that's quickly forgotten.
    We'll fight 'til the end.

It always winds me up when the idiots start throwing stuff.  I'm not bothered about anything anyone sings, but it pisses me off big time when I think of kids copping for something at the side of the head because some moron decides to start lobbing stuff.
If you're so hard, meet up with like minded people and knock the stuffing out of each other away from the match and other fans.

I think we need to be careful not to big this game up for something it isn't.
The usual core support will be there and will sing and support the team for ninety minutes.
We will have a heavy police presence with us and for once I am grateful that ticket numbers were limited.
I am nervous about going but I will be on my very best "get behind the team and ignore the baiters" behaviour.
    I hope it's a 0-0 draw!
