Not sure if this is just an urban myth or what? Someone else recommended that and it worked ok for a while but very slow like you said, now 3G is worse than 4G all I can think is that everyone's heard about this and on 3G.

Really enjoying this season so far. After 14 seasons straight in the Championship i was glad to get out, tbh it didnt bother me if it was up or out the bottom. All those seasons waking up having to drag yourself to another game against Preston, QPR, Bristol City, Blackburn, Reading. Then as if that wasnt bad enough you had teams with truly moronic support, the likes of Brum, Millwall, Boro, Stoke etc, its a horrible nasty desperate place the Championship and im glad to be out of it for a bit.
Ive found myself going back to how i first followed the Rams. Couple of beers at lunch, something to eat and just enjoy the game. A quick flick in the evening to see the scores down the leagues and thats it really. Don't care about the Prem or Championship, not even too bothered about who's where in Division one yet

It's a shame they couldn't have wedged Season Ticket holders in at number six, in between members and general public. Paying out £400 should mean you get in front of the casual fan at least.

I will be happy if we're competitive and not struggling near the bottom.

No not at all, we are lucky to even be competing next season. The new owners need to get to grips with the everyday running of the club again and at the same time make us competitive, hopefully make players young and old want to come and play for the club again.
More than happy to see us finish in the top 8 or so with Rosenior developing a style of play & good young additions to the academy.

A team being basically built from scratch will need room to become a cohesive unit and yes experienced players will also need time.  As the season goes on i expect some players to adapt to the team quicker, or better than others.
In short, a mid table finish would be a good first season for me, top 2 would be extraordinary but am not expecting it.

I dont think it should be underestimated how much of an effect this could have on sales. Might only be a small percentage who used the payments option i dont know, but it was pretty much myself and all my mates. Not sure many are in a position to just find £400 on the hip anymore or even bang in on the card as in the past. No blame attached to the club obviously with the new owners and probably a lack of trust from financial places it's not possible.

Don’t feel too down, there’s still a chance the club will offer a Direct Debit option as the site says “not currently an option”.
Maybe they’ve rushed to get tickets on sale with these payment options being straightforward and need a little more time to set up direct debit options? Could be that in a week or two there will be that option and as it’s before 29/07 you would still have your seats reserved too. Could be that it’s just not an option but as always without the full facts yet I say Wait and see ?

Yes but not what different MM companies were involved, trying to unravel a spiders web.MM knew about Boro before administration yet Quantuma seemed surprised by it,did he tell them,i wonder.
We don't honestly know if other appointed administrators would have been any better.

Sing along to this Derby County Flag.

The Housemartins - Sheep would be a great song for our fans to sing and for our team to be welcomed on to the pitch.
    Now you can sing it.
    Brilliant flag.

My friend has not long left of his life, He has terminal cancer and has maybe only weeks to live.  He had his first season ticket when he came out of the army in the mid fifties, and has had it every season since, and then when he married in 1963 his wife had one too, they never missed a home match, but then covid came along and they have not been again. We have a mutual friend who lives in the USA he is in the UK this week end and is taking my friend to what is likely to be his last match ever. I'm just hoping if there are any protests it wont affect the match. So please spare a thought or a prayer if your so minded on Saturday. I wont say his name as he hated social media as much as he loved the Rams. So UP THE RAMS  P will be thinking of you.

Similar to my feelings. Spent the day walking in the sunshine. Racked up 13+ miles, wasn't too bothered when I got a notice saying Cov had scored and same when we equalised. It's a shame really but most mates have stopped going which doesn't help things. I felt like this briefly after Jim Smith and got it back again but I'm older and wiser now. I toyed with the idea of watching a few Alfreton town games but can't face singing "Come on you reds" and they are terrible at the minute as well

I can’t be bothered to go today. Or anymore for that matter. Football is lost to me.
We anxiously wait for some rich person to bail us out. These person/persons have a plan involving making money. But no interest in Derby. At least Mel had a dream. He followed it and so did we. We could have made it. But didn’t.
But make what exactly? Joining a league of Rich men’s playthings.

Billionaires are queuing up to buy Chelsea. Sky are more interested in a subscription from someone in South Korea than a season ticket holder in Southampton.
It not our game anymore, where just there for the sound effects.
    Football sucks.

Why bother having an administration thread if we're just going to post rubbish in it? Change the name to "pub thread" or "old people reminisce about the olden days" if you want and be done with it. If there is nothing new to post about administration or nothing relevant to be posted then we don't need to post anything in this thread. If people want to talk about other things there are plenty of other threads to get lost in or shock horror they can start their own thread to discuss it.

He wont go . The only way he wil lgo and prob why he is even accepting an interview is to see if they will hold out till the end of the season or give Derby 7 million in compo and then go now , its the only way he will be able to look at himself in the morning and say he did the best for us . Remember the comment of what sort of a man would i be if i walk out now .
Well i for one would be a bit surprised at him walking now with no 7 million for us and it being a straight walk out to everton job and leave us in the lurch . Im sorry i dont agree with the comments of can you blame him well yes i can . It would be pretty crappy show of him to walk out now and underline just how shallow football is .
