I'm sure George doesn't have too much trouble scoring - good looking lad armed with the phrase "Hi, I'm a racing driver" should just about nail it....?

I have ran out of patience now. The piss poor communication from the club is appalling. What contingencies do we have if dont find a buyer before season start? 

Just after the incident, Sky showed the view from Verstapen's car where you could quite clearly see his steering wheel - he began to turn into the corner, realised Hamilton was there and starightened - and then turned in anyway. Effectively he decided that rather than back off or run wide he'd force Hamilton to yield - Hamilton had already committed to the move so to my mind Verstapen paid the price for being over agressive. Should have been called a racing Incident but it seems to me that the stewards have become a bit power crazy this season - way too many penalties being applied which is actually having a negative effect on the races....
As for Red Bull - Horner, their chief engineer, and their owner all bleating like a bunch of 5 year olds (including demands that Hamilton should be suspended for a race) - ironic that when Max had previously carried out a similar move to Hamilton's, Horner had taken to social media to crow about what a great bit of driving it was....utterly classless team and will have lost a lot of public support with their constant whinging.....

I wasn’t suggesting he should force them - but when they’ve spent 5 weeks practicing penalties I’d have expected a few of the more senior players to step up rather than hide - and the manager should have been working on that. Henderson for example - hugely experienced, Liverpool captain, yet subbed off because he hasn’t got the balls to take a penalty. Saka will get all the crap but some of the others need to look in the mirror and ask why they let that situation happen….

I know - but the manger must have realised what a huge amount of pressure he was putting on him. He’d looked shakey since he came on - Southgate should have demanded one of the more experienced players to step up rather than bottle it…

Weirdly I’m intending to use my own judgment where and when masks should be worn and where I feel comfortable mixing with other people. If businesses ask me to wear a mask to use their facilities I’ll put my mask on or else go elsewhere.

So what do you suggest? not get bodies in and just give up? miraculously fix all of our EFL problems, get the takeover done, find someone to give us £50m for Knight and blow the lot on a new team of competitive Championship players?
We are where we are (a poorer squad than the one that only just avoided relegation last year, a transfer embargo, the same owner so no chance of the EFL letting up on their vindictive campaign, etc, etc....). Unless a miracle occurs (the takeover goes through, the EFL give us a clean bill of health and Wazza manages to bring in 5-6 quality signings for little money and on minimum wages) then it will be a long hard season of scrapping.....

Perhaps Wazza has a cunning plan….
