  1. He'll see the season out and then in the summer if we have a decent budget he'll stay for one more year. If the we can't invest in the summer and a big clubs comes knocking, he'll go.
  2. Wasn't great last night, but I bet if went there trying to play football we would have got poohoused ourselves. Buzzing with the three points and now a bit of gap forming. Take the points and on to the next one!
  3. Given Warnock's comments about there not being too many decent hold up players out there, I would definitely give him another year. Great for the squad too.
  4. I can't remember the last manager we had that changed the team tactics so drastically every game. Most of our managers either played one system very well or changed the odd player. Rooney keep surprising me every game.
  5. I read it as they have both signed contracts to proceed. So BZI just need to find the money to complete. Which they had up until the final hour.
  6. Oh the European guy, I guess thats referring to Samuelson who brokered the Reading/Villa takeovers. Not sure if he's a football finance guy but would add credibility to the takeover attempts.
  7. It doesn't, I think the person who has written as gone through a chain of Chinese whispers without actually understanding what they are saying but the 'propped up by wealthy construction people rather than the Sheik's own money' I believe there was middle Eastern journalist reporting on that the other night, so don't think that's far off the mark.
  8. This is WhatsApp mates of mates , so could be absolute waffle, but it makes sense to me so thought I'd share. So Sheik Khaled was actually propped up by a consortium of middle Eastern construction tycoons under the BZG umbrella and then used a couple of European football finance power houses to set up Derventio holdings and give credibility to the deal (the same people that helped with the takeover of Villa). The deal was agreed on the 24th, but the consortium backed out. The Sheik still wants to go ahead but he no longer has the cash and is looking for funds elsewhere. Mel is also lookin
  9. I can't get my head around why you would show interest and never follow through with any of your purchases. It just makes you look like a colossal bank stain.
  10. Yeah but rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooòiiioooooooooooooooooooooooiooioooooooiìoooooooooooòoooòòòoòooioookooooony
  11. Ignore FFP and spend a fortune like Leicester,Bournemouth, QPR and villa? Sorry unpopular opinion. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  12. His best most youthful look was 2007? Ha
  13. I was against the idea as it just felt like a romanticised appointment. But he's proven he has what it takes and the performances have drastically improved. I'm all behind him now - let's get out of the relegation zone, get the new owners in and kick on next year!
  14. Reading the replies, I'm probably the only person that feels a bit more reassured by SP's comments. Maybe I'm naive 🤷‍♂️
