Thought he did well last night too against Premier League opposition

Agreed - wasn't too sure about him when he first signed - didn't look too solid defensively and didn't create much going forward, but he's grown into the role and now looks decent....

Ah, glad a few others like it. I loved the first series and am waiting until I can grab the whole show and binge watch it with pizza and beers, preferably when the other half is at here parents ?

BTW, Jeremy Renner broke over 30 bones in that snowplough accident. Sounds horrific, but out of danger and mending well apparently.

6500kg snowplough - very lucky he wasn't killed.....

I just don’t see Curtis going somewhere for one years pay cheque. He has a young family, loves this club, is valued by the hierarchy. There will be a place for Curtis in some role here that has more longevity than a 12/18 month stint at a plastic football club in roundabout city.

But if Warne has told him he thinks this will be his last season as a player and Curtis thinks he's got another year in his legs then he'd be daft not to consider other offers....

Don't have an issue with people not liking stats. I've not got much interest in talking xG down the pub.

But it's an objectively useful metric for measuring and predicting team performance.

I’ve been watching the Rams for over 40 years - do you think xG will help me have a better idea of how we’re likely to perform? because I can tell you honestly that I’ve very little idea before any match as to whether we’ll play well or not or whether we’ll score one goal or four ….

  5. Football is broken - Man Utd granted an equaliser when Rashford is clearly offside and running alongside the ball when Fernandes puts it into the net - because he didn’t touch the ball or interfere with an opponent it’s considered to be ok….. how are teams supposed to defend if players can stand anywhere offside and not be interfering with play?

It’s time to call Sky again as they have increased my rate by stealth by £10 this month and looks like another £10 on top of that for Feb. I will call to badger for a better deal but what are the alternatives ? Don’t fancy Virgin as they still want to knock holes in the  walls.
Are the fire stick things legal ? What is the best stand alone broadband without the telly ?

    Thanks all in advance

Fire Sticks are entirely legal - unless you install software on them to illegally access content....be aware that you still need to pay for the better content so would need a Netflix or Amazon Prime subscription unless you're happy with the free live/catch-up services (iPlayer etc)

Sheffield Utd maybe wanted more playing time for him, something which we cant guarantee for the remainder of the season so I'd not be stunned to see him loaned out to another L1 club before the end of Jan.

It's a shame as he has raw ability in a way that if he was one of our own he'd be one of those impact subs that would have us excited and blocking Crystal Palace scouts from the ground.

It may mean that Warne now has a forward to look for as well as the obvious defensive options he needs to explore.

Maybe we already have a striker lined up so Utd can’t see the point of leaving him here….
