Liverpool take the lead at Leicester - and score again while I’m typing. 2-0 after 35 minutes….

…and a minute later he drops a cross on Haaland’s head for 2-0

Never, ever, associate @Boycie with a weave. He uses hair extensions. Watch him deny it.

I heard a Leicester player on the radio say that Fulham wanted it more and that Leicester players weren't hungry enough.
I know footballers have only 5 automated responses but he's picked the wrong one. He's admitting that he and his teammates weren't that arsed?
maybe he was just being honest - the few times I've seen them, they've certainly looked like they couldn't be arsed....

I bought one of the original LG OLED TVs for about £2200 a few years back. I paid the £6 monthly for "anything/whatever happens" to Currys.
After 2 years, the yellow Sky Sport banner had burnt into the screen, so I took it in to be repaired. When they hadn't repaired it within 10 days, I demanded a new TV, and they gave me a voucher for the equivalent TV (about £1400 by this time), I added £100 and bought a Sony Bravia OLED, cracking TV. I still pay the "anything/whatever happens" in case something goes wrong with this, and it did reboot every now and then, but there was a setting I changed and it's resolved now.
Many years ago, my wife & I went to Comet to buy a compact HiFi - when we went up to the counter to place our order, the staff member started really pressing us to take out the extended warranty 'insurance' - I told him we didn't want it (it wasn't an expensive purchase anyway) - unfortunately his desire to get his commission on the warranty prompted him to pull out an absolutely huge folder from under the desk and exclaim "Just look how many claims we've had on things we sell" - to which I replied (in a very loud voice in front of a lot of people queing behind us) "So you're telling me the stuff you sell is crap?" - he couldn't put the folder away quickly enough....we didn't go through with the purchase....

Typically change every year to ensure I'm not paying much (and also get cashback in the process)
Virgin - fast, reliable, but kept getting letters in the post due to what I was downloading
Sky - cheaper, not as fast, fairly reliable
Now Broadband - cheaper than Sky but same speed, less reliable
OneStream - same sort of price, never dropped out, but have had speeds drop off now and again. -
Two awful defences on show- and Southampton concede a penalty - can see why they’re both in trouble this season…

4-0 - pressure increasing on Florist for later this evening

I actually think this could be a blessing in disguise....
If we'd been promoted, we would have really struggled to recruit decent Championship level players within the financial restraints that we'll be under next season (even assuming the EFL permitted us a bit more wriggle room) - it had the potential to be a horrible season with us spending most of the time in the lower reaches trying to fight off relegation. As it is, we will be after less-able (League One level) players, a lot of whom will have played at PP this season and will have liked what they've seen - we'll still be one of the biggest clubs in the division and we'll hopefully be able to recruit players to address the obvious gaps in the squad, permit us to have more options in the matchday squad, and really give it a go from the start of the season with a fully fit squad that have all had a proper pre-season (something we struggled with this year) - and if we do go up, we should be free of the EFL and their diktats when we start in the Championship to really give us a fair chance to compete....

That free kick has summed up White’s loan with us - not good enough…

Yet another weekend of ‘upgrades’ from Mercedes that actually seem to make them less competitive…
I saw a comment from Lewis who suggested the underlying issue (other than a lack of straight line speed) is the overall design of the car which means the driver is sitting further forward than in any of their competitors, making it harder to balance the car through the corners - think he’ll be gone at the end of the season if they can’t provide a competitive car….
Well that can of worms wont close

and they're in the process of spaffing huge amounts of money on a new ground - a ground that they can ill afford (or fill) in the Championship.....
