Given HP Sauce is from Nottingham, I presumed this poll would be unequivocally Daddies. But only 4 of us have voted for the non-Nottingham option!
That because most of the folk on here are weird…..

Bournemouth.
Very harsh after he managed to keep them up - suspect their owners have delusions of them being a bigger club.....

Lots of people though the declaration was crazy…..but huge credit to England for this morning - to lead by 7 after the first innings given the way the Aussies were going is remarkable..

Lots of penalties applied so Hulk now down to P5 with Lewis and Russell locking out the second row - Sainz somehow only given a 3 place penalty for driving like a t*** through the entire qualifying session. Checo yet again letting the Max factor get to him and somehow ending up 12th in the best car on the grid…

It borrowed from Klopp using, er, Alexander-Arnold in a midfield role
Weirdly most football fans had spent the last season saying that TAA was a crap full back and that it would make more sense to play him in midfield - when Klipperty finally had the balls to try it, he’s lauded as some sort of genius….and now Southgate is getting credit for it as well….

Are we actually going to get some rumours in here?
Hope not - I'm loving the fact that the club are keeping everything in house and there are no leaks to the muppets in the press. Only downside is the damage to the environment from the extra sheets needing to be washed due to all the bedwetters that can't cope with the silence.....

We finally finished Succession and sad there'll not be another one. But probably the best decision if it wants to retain it's all-time classic status.
Season 4 felt more up and down than previous seasons, but still very, very good, with some sparkling scriptwriting/dialogue and consistently great acting.
We will now go back to watch the fourth and final (for now, not sure if they are making more) season of the brilliant Fauda on Netflix.
I've mentioned this several times already, but I'll risk being boring because it's nudging Gomorrah and Spiral for me as the best subtitled foreign production I have seen.
Just finished the thrid series of Fauda - top telly!

It seems threads here get closed down if you call Derby fans “a bit of a melt” but not if you call opposition fans “opinionated numpties”! Tsk. Double standards.
Of course there are double standards - read the name of the frigging forum.....

Francois Grenet, the best left back in France after Lilian Thuram (only he wasn't) is a 4? Very generous given my memories of him but each to his own I guess.
More an evaluation of both him and the film - so much proimise, but ultimately so much disappointment....

Simulant - a poor imitation of Blade Runner combined with the TV series Humans.
It has a few interesting ideas (such as transferring a human's consciousness to a standby simulant clone in case of an accident) but the pacing is all over the place making it an unsatisfying watch - without any spoilers, it starts off very slowly, suddenly decides we need some action, and then gets to a section that could have been the end of the film - only they obcviously had a bit of budget left so they then tried to tie up all of the loose threads in the last 15 minutes - and didn't do any of them well.....
4/10 - Francois Grenet

That's pretty dreadful but always seemed to be the way things would end up (or else the EFL pull the plug on them because they can't prove funding for the season). Their current owner clearly doesn't have the necessary wonga (or else won't put it into the club) and there's little sign of any credible saviour on the horizon....

I think some clueless person challenged me on posting about rumoured player transfers. Well at least this rumour has some more substance behind it, see my previous post on this player.
wow - you have the nerve to acuse me of being clueless - I suggest you re-read your postings over the past six months if you want to see clueless.....🤪
As it happens, I didn't challenge you about rumnoured transfers - I requested that your 'would xxxx be a good player for us' to be posted in the correct thread rather than this one which I understood was for actual rumours with a bit of substance (such as the one you've linked to). If you want to make random suggestions, that's absolutely fine - just try doing so in the 'transfer suggestions thread - that way folk can easily see whether there's a possibility that players named might be on their way here rather than just someone that you think might be good if we signed them....
-
There's a thread for summer transfer suggestions - any chance we can we keep the 'would xxxx be a good signing' to there rather than this thread which is supposed to be for genuine rumours?....

Nice to see Scott Carson on the pitch enjoying the celebrations….can we claim a bit of credit for the win?

Shame about the stream of non-stop verbal diarrhoea from the BT sport commentator - bloke obviously never heard Barry Davies advice that the biggest skill in commentating is knowing when to shut up….

There’s something weird going on with scouse footballers and hairstyles - watched a bit of the England u21 match last night, Harvey Elliott has got some sort of strange blonde frizzy cow pat dribbling over his head….
