Awesome today, was absolutely everywhere, not normally what you’d see from a RB! Thought he was by far and away our poorest performer for the first half of the season, to be honest I don’t think he looked up for the fight. Was starting to feel it was time to phase him out for Ebosele at full back, but hopefully today is a turning point. Just needs to get his crossing back to the standards he showed last season now.

Nah, I’m not having defence of Lawrence after that today. Absolutely pathetic from a player of his experience to hit out like that. Cannot even begin to describe my anger at him when he threw away our man advantage, the forum rules won’t let me say what I’d like to about him. Pure petulance from a man with history of it. Could have cost us the game today, and could still cost us survival. Let his team mates down badly, and I hope he’s apologised to them all, as well as the fans. 

Comparing that to the other reds we’ve had is nonsensical. None of the others were pure petulance like that. There’s only one player in our squad who does that sort of thing. It’s a shame, because he is a great player. I thought he’d grown up with the captaincy. Today suggests I was wrong.

Always rated Cashin whenever I’ve watched him the youth teams. Delighted to see him do so well today. He’s got a big of everything, will go far in the game imo. 

Already a better player than Stearman in my view, and probably has been since the start of the season (no offence to RS who has worked very hard and done well when called upon). Shame he hasn’t been involved a bit more, I think he’ll be class once he’s settled in to the team and becomes braver on the ball.

Kazim might be a surprise inclusion today…

When the claim was made in January 2021 we were on the verge of a takeover by Sheikh Khaled, which then fell through. When Gibson originally pushed for our FFP punishment it was January 2020, again we were on the verge of a takeover by Henry Gabay, that also then fell through. Coincidence?

Always depressing seeing Forest able to win a game like that, but couldn’t have been against a much better choice of team. Softens the blow a bit. Leicester are the most tin pot of all tin pot clubs. Desperate for a real rivalry so keep pretending like Forest and Derby give a toss about them. Don’t even get me started on the clappers as well
