We will only go up if we get 2nd auto place. The side we have now won't be able to buy a goal in the play-offs.

Two Scenarios -

BAD - This Bolton's big chance.

They are tougher at home and if Pompey have already 'gone to the beach', and Bolton win .. we are in pooh strasse

Bolton will get a massive morale boost beating Pompey, which will stand them in good stead for their remaining games.

GOOD - Pompey bury Bolton to win the League (effectively) on Saturday. Phew. As you were.

But we have got to win the remaining games.

Training notes - try and get the ball into the opposition's white-painted wood-framed area.

Every player has to achieve one on-target shot on goal each game or they are fired.

For me, beating Wycombe on Saturday counted for a lot.

People should take a helicopter view of this season.

It's one week off October and we are  7 pts off the leaders.

If told that back in May, I suspect quite a few would have taken that.
