Not sure Ive seen anyone say we will go straight back up but I assume you are right?
It would be great to go straight back up obviously, but still too many questions marks hanging - the ground, actual confirmation of sale, further points deduction (?).
-
I will be happy if we just sort our poo out in L1.
There are some happy clappers on here who think we will go straight back up - that would be great obviously - but rather than desperately lunge at it it needs to be done in a sustainable fashion.
Create a model that can then be expanded for an eventual return to the Promised Land.
-
We go down, and we will lose a significant number/if not all of our players.
We will contract to the size of a L1 team. There might be 30,000 watching but on the pitch that is what it will be.
The league is a bearpit and it will take a while to get out of.
I will be happy if we steady the ship and finish outside the relegation zone next season, especially if we get hit by another pts deduction.
Then its a couple of seasons' rebuilding and then get back up - hopefully.
We could go into freefall ....

Anyway, we are beggars, and an unappealing option is better than no option.

That looks like a strong line up. Lots of free transfers in from Trumpton or is it Camberwick Green
I hope they don't regret leaving those big-time clubs to come to us.
With luck we might also be able to lure Bungle and Zippy out of retirement.

Genuine question: at what point is it justified to start getting antsy?
TBH ... I am well beyond that now. This is now an absolute train wreck.
Wish we could fast forward to this time next season when Dave Scrubbins is manager (who's he I hear you cry ? - exactly)
and the team is -
Hugh, Pugh, Barny, McGrew, Cuthbert , Dibble, Grub, Morecombe, Wise, Barker, Corbett
We have Gillingham on Saturday, and with a win we can get out of the bottom four.
As long as Dibble's surgical support is back from Robert Dyas we may have a chance.

TBH this is beyond rubbish now.
Are our new owners just being 'In Administration'?

I was doing my usual day dreaming earlier, and it usually leads to what I'd spend my 100 million on if I won the euro millions
If you won 100m would you be prepared to save Derby by donating x amount, if so how much, and what would you want in return?
I think I'd be happy putting 20m, I don't want much in return, just be treated like a god, and have free reign to walk around and do as I please
I would keep 20m for myself
40m for the Rams
10m to ring the High Wycombe ground with badly managed land fills sites
10m to buy Middlesborough in its entirety and turn it into a badly managed land fill site ..
.... hold up, someone has beaten me to the last one.

So delays are entirely to be expected and not a sign of poor management on either side. It takes 2 (or three or 4) to Tango
I beg to differ.
My great fear is that if someone really wanted us, they would have made it happen by now, especially since Mel seemed to clear a path through the Boro rubbish.
I really hope we aren't being purchased as the equivalent of someone's super yacht status symbol/something to do at the weekend.
Anyway, aside from that, sorry to hear your big deal fell through.
What's your next move in cornering the second-hand bicycle market in Tissington?

Near me we have real trouble with hamsters using very small drones to get around. They buzz about, the pilot often aggressive and inconsiderate.
All to get to Holland Barratt for the 2 for 1 on sunflower seeds.
I ask you.

We are such an unfashionable club every Rams moment is underrated.
The FA is a very 'London' organisation.
Now, if it was a magic moment by , say West Ham, or Fulham, or QPR ... well ...

A salutary lesson for Rams from Oldham
in Derby County Forum

I work in an office full of Oxford Utd fans, and from what I gather we are going into a frying pan that includes broken glass.
Also lets face it, two of the spots are probably pre-booked by Everton/Burnley/Norwich/Watford.
For me its two stage -
a. Stop the rot (not on the pitch but the back of house stuff) - clarity needed on where we stand
b. Rebuild - this could take a fair while.
