We need some kind of promotion form for the rest of the season, but if Wayne can pull this off he'd be one of the most legendary figures at the club in recent history.

-5 points, which would put us 10 points from safety isn't a write off, I seriously hope the players do not share your view that it is.
It's not just Rooney's contract I don't know, I don't know any of the players contracts, I suspect you don't either so I could say Lawrence and we wouldn't even know.
As I've said earlier, we don't know if 32 Red are still subsidising his wages and are in line with the rest of the squad.
I get it, he's the big name, must be on the most money but I'm going to need more than some journalist at the Sun to convince me we're currently playing 90k a week which is where all this has come from.

You should have titled your thread WE Are Derby, emphasising it’s us that’ll be there through thick and thin. Some players and management may want to still be part of the club in the near future but may be forced to move on to pastures new through no choice of their own, who knows ?
But WE will still be around because you can change your car or your Mrs but you can’t change your football club.

Do you, or anyone that liked your post, honestly think the EFL are working honourably, with the best interests of the game at heart and aren't solely focused on bringing Mel Morris down?
It isn't a vendetta against Derby, it's a battle of egos between Rick Parry and Mel Morris, club and fans are collateral damage.

Im not sure, i hope some day in the near future the fans take back the game from the greedy rich owners and tv companies who only care about making money and dont care about the fans!

Look what happened with this super league! Fans have a lot of power, shame the momentum from that has seemed to disappear! I was hoping it would kick on, to percentage of fan ownership, ticket prices, kick off times, etc, etc!

Its the same as capitalism, the consumer has the power! If everyone stopped buying from a company it would go bust, no matter how big, powerful and rich they are! Footballs similar! (Not completely the same due to the passion and not switching clubs like you would a supermarket but you get my drift) If the fans stopped going the clubs and even tv companies would have to listen! The premier league and the championship do well abroad on tv because of the the fans! Take them away and the atmosphere dies, the "product" is much weaker!

Come on man! It’s Ewey, not hard is it? a male sheep is a ram, hence ‘Rammie’, a female sheep is a ewe, and should be referred to as Ewey accordingly!

Well what I have seen Derby played some lovely football in first half cut through there midfield like butter and trailist one from reading played well Morrison I would offer contract too. And in the 2nd changes were made but Derby kepted try and got there reward when Richard's score a really really good goals.
I dont think we desevse to lose 2-1 I the 2nd half I think if Derby can improve I dont think we got anything to worry about or to fear this season.

De22Ram reacted to i-Ram in Anybody had a change of heart with Southgate, or still not impressed?
No change of thought. Always thought him conservative, and a bit negative. and last night confirmed that he is still reluctant to grab hold of a game when it is there for the taking.  Starting Mount wide on the left, where Sterling had been excelling, and not having a proper right sided attacker was odd, but he clearly didn't know his best player on the right of the pitch all tournament. Grealish and Foden should have been given more game time. Taking off Henderson at the end again was naive - he has a good penalty record, and putting Sancho and saka at 4 and 5 in the penalties was never going to be a good idea. Some experience and mental toughness was needed in that situation. Henderson, Shaw and Walker would have been better picks for penalties when we were at 129 minutes.
Deserves another go, but he is yet to convince me he has anything other than a good rapport with his squad, rather than being game savvy. Got some very good players at his disposal after all.
