Lowest position this Club has been at in my lifetime. Gone backwards from last season.
Sorry, Paul, I'm now I'm the 'sack him tonight' camp. Get him gone.

I'm not a fan of the old 'What you sayin' now I've scored a goal against Exeter. Yes, Exeter. At home. That puts us level with Lincoln and just behind Stevenage' hand motion to the ear celebration.

It's like me walking into the house, stabbing a fork into the film of a Chicken Curry microwaveable meal several times,  not bothering to stir half way through the 6 alloted minutes and then turning round to the Mrs, who's been banging on at me to do more cooking for the last 11 years, and giving the same celebration.
    It's exactly the same thing.

Two things I noted from all this.
    1. "Background noise". Untrue, the atmosphere at pride park has been quiet for a while.
    2. "Elite sport". I agree that there are always opinions around elite sport, but I don't see what that has to do with a mid-table third division side.
    3. I understand an "us Vs them" mentality can be good at times. But going against your own fans will never work out in your favour. Why not just say "we, like the fans are demanding improvement"?
Think it'll be a while before they wheel him out for the media again.

I haven’t heard the interview, and frankly can’t be bothered to listen to it. I respect however @ziggazagga’s opinions, and he is fully entitled to make them. He and his son are paying good money to watch what has been a piss poor show since March. I am glad Barker (and Warne, and Mendez Laing), are hearing the noise, and might raise their games accordingly. One win against an ordinary Exeter side is nothing to get too carried away with, although the victory was welcomed. Let’s get a run of wins under our belt and then that would be the time for Barker to respond to the expectations of fans.

For the sanctimonious amongst us, my first match was in 1967, I have seen all sorts in that time and I have never booed. I have however had a company with 1200 employees and can tell if someone is getting the absolute best of the talent and resources available to them, so no I would not have a different conversation face to face no matter what management theories you spout, because I have lived it  not just read about it. See you at Stevenage

My son and I travel home and away at great expense to support this team. I am not and never will be 'outside noise ' . You should be grateful we care enough to have an opinion of your hopeless coaching ability, trying to play a style that was fit for the 80s.  Never take this club nor the supporters for granted whilst you leach off our backs getting very well paid for a substandard job

I don't understand your West Bank remark.
Meanwhile, Hamas went into Israel and slaughtered 1400 people in cold blood, Babies beheaded. Many people with their hands tied, then burnt alive. Plenty just mown down with gunfire. Deliberate, merciless, gruesome acts beyond anything ever seen in my lifetime. Also kidnapping 200 children and elderly to then use and abuse as human shields.
Israel has demonstrated it can no longer protect its citizens, meaning Hamas can and will come and do the same again next month, or next year. Perhaps even worse. Not only does Israel have to try to rescue its hostages, it has decided in a way its difficult to argue, that the only way to keep its citizens safe is to wipe out Hamas. Before the stated Hamas aim of wiping out Israel. You can't negotiate with an enemy who simply wants you dead. Israel is fighting for the right to exist. None of this would have happened without the Hamas attack, effectively a declaration of war, and clearly Hamas would have expected Israeli retribution in this way, perhaps even worse. It's what Hamas wanted to trigger.
It's horrific to see the many decent Palestinians who are horribly caught in the middle, and there should be avenues out. It's notable that most of the Arab governments don't want to take anyone because they're concerned they're bringing Hamas terrorists into their countries. And, yes, in jest you are right as to an extent what Israel believes it is doing is trying to save itself and the world from terrorism. Yet this war will be a disaster for all concerned, including Israel and its army, with Hamas dug in, lying in wait. Many, many, many thousands more will die and it's horrific and I mourn every one.
But none of this should mean people can't be shown pictures of kidnapped, terrified children who are hostages of brutal murderers. For  fear of antagonizing a mob. Shame on the police and the mob.

Player explains to fans "we're giving it our best but this is how the Manager wants us to play"...Manager says to player in the changing room "what went off out there" player says "it's your crap formation, Your why wall, You buying mugs for a players 1st goal instead of coaching intelligent players and putting them in their best position, It's about setting up a formation where we dictate the play and not letting the opposition, It's about you calling out some players for having their heads turned, It's about you giving poor post match interviews, But you never had the balls to go over so I as your Captain did and took a bullet for you...never again mate"

    How is Warnock a dinosaur?
His teams have all played in different ways, to suit the players at his disposal. Dinosaurs don't make Adel Taarabt the centrepiece of a championship promotion winning team, I'd suggest as one example.
Equally, what makes you state PW isn't a dinosaur so assuredly?
I see no evidence in his years work so far that he's a modern, progressive tactical coach capable of outthinking his opponents.
Bypass midfield, hit the channels, get crosses in, win second balls, score, seems to be the extent of his  coaching so far.
If you think a why wall, mugs for scoring, pestering players via WhatsApp etc make Warne a modern man, they're just variations of tools managers old and new use to motivate.

Aware of the forum rules I wrote and not wanting to go down the religion path, I'll skirt it the best I can.
Wasn't long ago Islamophobia was thrown about, yet here we are not wanting to see people killed that so happen to be muslim, now antisemitism is thrown back.
Religion amongst others is now being used as a layer of protection against criticism.
And we should be able to call out what's wrong in the world without being labelled, be it fat, thin, male, female, muslim, christian, white, asian, mixed race.
The loss of civilian lives be it Israeli or Palestinian is wrong. Simple as that. Refer back to my first post in this thread. Stop killing people ffs.

As America's Island hopping campaign got into Japanese territory, the defender's tactics changed. They started using suicide bombers, kamikaze pilots and herding Japanese civilians off cliffs. This was before reaching the mainland, where they were issuing women and children with bamboo spears and suicide bombs.
They were faced with a difficult choice, one I'm glad I didn't have to make.
