  1. That was a great fight. One that actually deserves a rematch. Usyk the right winner but it was very close. A lot of people have been swayed by the 10-8 round, when Fury to be fair was lucky it wasnt stopped, the rest of the fight was extremely close. I can see why some thought Fury won but Usyk was the winner for me.

  2. I do think attendances could be hit next season by this new TV deal though. Although with increased notice periods then enables people to plan. Night games will mean my girls wont come with me, sure there’s plenty more in the same boat with kids. Could be affected by away support (due to times of kick offs) as well with other fanbases not as hardcore as us.

You’ve all said this for 2 years and it hasn’t happened

why not relegated next season? Don’t sound particularly confident..

Leicester’s impending points deduction might save you next season otherwise I’d be saying you’re in trouble.

Maybe I’m wrong and you’ll click. Have to say I thought you’d be comfortably clear of relegation this season and midtable, you should be considering the top 10 wage bill you have. It’s been a shocking season for you let’s face it and the way your club has behaved means there’s plenty of other fans (not just Derby) that want you to fail. You can’t be happy with how you’ve conducted yourselves? And he’s doubled down on leaving the City Ground?! Toton Forest?! Derby Forest?! Could it even be built in Derbyshire? 🤣. Personally I think you lot are too attached to that place, it’s a s*** hole of a ground but surely you’ve got to relocate if not within the city limits (let’s face you never have been in Nottingham) but certainly much closer to the city limits than Toton.

Youre already up against FFP, you’re going to need to sell players yes you can then reinvest but you’re 17th?! In your view where can Forest realistically go from here? Where should they be? Your owner has view which one could call ambitious, another could call delusional but what so fans generally think?

Yeah good call on this, i think the £10m ideas are a bit fanciful at this point!

let’s see how he gets on in league one, I’d hope Warne has a look at him in pre season though. If thinks can help the first team then be good to see him play.

If brown plays and scores goals in the championship then £10m would not be a shock!

Yeah agree if he rips it up in preseason hopefully he’ll be part of the squad.

  5. I’d say if he’s not going to play we send him on loan to old Nige at Mansfield with a recall clause in Jan, if he rips it up we recall him and play him here. Bit like when Chelsea cancelled Bamfords MK Dons loan and sent him to us in 13/14.

Im hoping however he can be an impact sub next season and force his way in. It looks like the main thing he’s learned is to use his physicality and it’s transformed him as a player. We hang on to him we’ve got a 20 goal championship striker on our hands if not this season then next.

  6. Not even Forest will blow a 12 goal swing on the last game of the season. They’re safe.

Saw some Plank on Twitter ranting against the world also say f*** Derby it hurts them us being in the big time. Sure we’d like to be  there but it would only hurt us if they were actually any good!! Their achievements:

Finished 16th and 17th (so getting worse)

Cheated FFP deducted points (got off very lightly) - that annoys me given how harshly we were treated im not going to lie.

Whinged about decisions and corruption every week causing most neutrals to despise them

Undermine officials during a match with owner going on the pitch

Appointed a ref consultant to undermine the refereeing governing body

Put out numerous embarrassing statements from club Twitter account - the mafia type statement and who can forget “Playtime”

Alienated fan base with extortionate price rises and proposing to put a stadium in Toton!! They may as well change their name to Derby Forest if they do that!! 🤣

All while spending £250m and wage bill of £150m, up to the limits on FFP which means they’ll have to sell players!!  Let’s face it considering the investment they’ve had - they’ve been dog s*** and genuine comedy value for the majority of football fans.

Theyre following Leeds’ trajectory at the moment which means problems next season. I’m thinking back in championship next couple of seasons!!

Absolutely bossed it tonight, so unlucky not to score from the edge of the box after a corner.clearance.

He’s now showing all the talent and ability many here thought he had. He’s clearly premiership quality and on this form I’d expect a new deal being offered or Palace selling him for a sizeable fee, as he’s now triggered that 1 year extension based on appearances.

Totally deserves it, it really was wishful thinking he’d drop to the championship, as sadly for us, the way he’s playing now, he’s going to be playing premiership football for awhile.

    So pleased for him though.

Yeah any notions of signing him were fanciful and now we have completely no chance. Palace fans even starting to appreciate him as well, chant his name whenever he gets the ball. Heard John Pienaar the political journo and Palace fan on H&J on Talksport and they were all waxing lyrical about Will. Shame he wasn’t in this form early season as he’d be a good squad option for England IMO. We don’t have many players in this country like him.

  8. Didn’t get to loads of away days managed a few more last season. Enjoyed two good wins at vale, Accrington I thought was quality. Could just park on the main road for free, straight into the pub, then served really quickly in the ground. And we won 3-0, perfect away day.

But league 1 is s**** and I hope we don’t ever go back there. I’m looking forward to playing the usual suspects again.

  9. Wow!!! What a day!! What a weekend!! I turned 40 on Thursday and this has been the ultimate present. On the pitch with my wife (who hates football but wore the Derby shirt I presented to her in my wedding speech 9 years ago) and my kids and my folks creating memories. I’m hoping it will be a day my daughters never forget!!

Yes the performance was s****!!! But the result was important and was never in doubt!! Warne has made this team ruthless in both boxes and that’s why we’ve got up. What I love is the culture and togetherness he and David Clowes have built. I’ve never wanted a manager to succeed more than Warne. He’s genuine he cares he’s a good bloke and he puts in the hours and gives his all for the club. John Gregory for example, as an ex legendary player and prominent manager at the time I thought he was going to be our saviour, he wasn’t and his b******* interviews just left you feeling fobbed off.

The togetherness from Admin is back. This group of players and staff is amazing and I’ll have fond memories of them and of yesterday until the day I die!! Some of them will move on but I back this group to recruit more amazing characters with more quality for the next chapter!!

We’re back!!!! B4 will be looking down and a proud man right now!!!

This is Percy openly acknowledging his loyalties and true colours with regards ourselves. When we as supporters were going through a tough time, he wasn’t so supportive defending our plight, he’s in the same bracket as that over rated accountant; nice to see Percy is feeling it here.

Hope he gets pelters from all angles, his credibility will slip the more he pins his colours to the Forest charade playing out.

I said as much (that he was tweeting as a Forest fan and club mouth piece), he promptly blocked me!!! 🤣 Think he’s blocked a few rams fans!!

  11. Rivalry aside, this lot are a disgrace to football!!! Lost again and once again not their fault. They’ve brought in clattenburg for one reason and one reason only to undermine officials. Forget FFP (where they also broke the rules and admitted to breaking the rules) they should be deducted points for this.

They deserve to go down and there will be a lot of football fans without black and white blinkers that now hope they do.

  12. In Vegas right now celebrating my birthday which is actually next week. However will be there next Saturday and as we’re then having my birthday meal with family the missus will also be at the match along with my kids. Hoping for amazing memories which will get my kids fully hooked on football and the Rams!!

  13. Really interesting. Stevenage was the major low point of the season, the point where most of us thought we need a change of direction as otherwise we’re going to be stuck here for years. The response from the staff and the players has been immense and we’re now on the cusp of promotion. That to me says we have bottle, resilience and clearly a group of players who are playing for their manager, and/or have the self motivation to not accept our performances at that time being good enough and actually do something to change it.

Next season is next season. There will be a turnover of players we will have a bigger budget and I think next season will be the time we can truly say this is Warne’s team. He’s proven he’s the right man for now whether he’s the right man for the future jury is out.

Anyone else getting ahead of themselves and thinking about arrangements of celebrations post Carlisle?

    Into Derby Saturday afternoon?

Open top bus parade Sunday afternoon or Monday evening?

Not quite yet but almost. I’m hoping Bolton chuck in a loss on Tuesday and we beat Cambridge to get promoted but as long as it’s in our hands last day we’ll get promoted.

Slightly controversial but if we did get promoted, do you think there would be an open top bus parade and would you want a parade? Did we have one in the 80s for 3rd division promotion? Part of me thinks yes we should, the club was in ruins nearly extinct so we should celebrate coming back from the brink, but then the other part of me thinks we should never be at this level and this promotion shouldn’t be celebrated as an achievement alongside our others.

I think we need to see where we are at the end of the season and then take stock. I think if we don’t go up Warne will resign. If we do, I think he will be given until Christmas to see what he can do. In the meantime let’s get behind the team and try and help get them over the line 😊

He won’t resign if we don’t go up. Clowes won’t get rid of him either. Clowes loves him and think it was quite clear from the fans forum that Pearce loves him. The people side, the environment, the culture, Clowes is big into that in terms of running his company (that’s a good thing by the way I’d want to work for a company with a good culture and think I do for the most part which is probably why I’m still there after 13 years). No one can deny Warne is very strong in this area. Warne is going nowhere and I think some need to realise that. I think he’ll be in charge for at least next season and probably the rest of his contract.

Personally I still think we’re going up so this is moot, but if we were to stay down, I think it would be counter productive to sack Warne and could risk keeping us down here for a few more years. He knows what it takes in League 1 as he’s won 3 promotions,  we’ve improved this season from last and I know a lot of people struggle to accept this but we have been hampered by restrictions compared with our promotion rivals both this season and last. This summer with no restrictions he’s best placed to know what we need to be promoted next season, a new playing style and building something new again could keep us down for longer IMO.
