Im hoping that when the takeover is done & morris is out of the picture that us & the EFL can become friends.
Yeah they're incompetent but its no good keep arguing with them. It only affects us negatively with embargo's and bad press. Im hoping it gets done and we can all move on

Remember that Billy Davies team that got promoted. Those players should never have taken us up, the reason they went up was Billy managed to create a togetherness, fighting spirit.
It wasn’t pretty, but it worked.
You don’t always need the best players, the best tactical managers, all you need is that belief and fight.
Sadly as fans, we’re too quick to kick players and managers down, League 1 at best, we don’t get behind them when they are out of form, having a bad game, we boo and take to the internet to call them all names under the sun.
Fans alone can’t win football games, but we can help win them by playing our part. Turning Pride Park into a ground to be feared, being “supporters” but forget it.
    Rooney out, boooooo
    Lawrence you’re poo, booooo

For all those intent on venting, please leave Tracey Crouch out of it. She is not the Sports Minister. Some bloke called Nigel Huddlestone got the gig last year. Boro fan I understand.

Just getting fed up with Derby County as a whole at the moment, but mainly the EFL.

I am trying not to sound like a man child at this point but they are genuinely ruining my interest in Football. Reading this statement whilst sat at work, is just mind blowing? The time of it as well is staggering to say the least. Genuinely can’t be bothered with bad news anymore regarding a club I love.

Its the sort of horribleness we miss. Too often we get bullied and beat by physical teams. I wouldn't be against having some spite in the middle of the park.

Obviously it's all a matter of opinion. I just haven't seen anything in his performances that would indicate he is any better than that or that he would be particularly difficult to replace. Other views are available.

Other than running around a lot im not sure what else he brings. He seems to fall over a lot if that counts. He looked a bright prospect and best of the lot when he first came through. Now id be willing him to move on.
i think he's a box to box player so not sure why we insist on playing him wide. However shinnie is better and offers more in that position but playing both in the same team means there is a lack of creativity. Not saying he isnt any good but just because he came through our youth system and had a couple of caps for ireland he isnt as good as we make out. If selling means we can bring in a couple of players in critical areas then im all for it

Must be just me that thinks hendrick and hughes havent pulled up any trees since leaving the club and we as fans of this club have been that use to seeing trash for last few years , that any player with even the remotest blip of skill we slap a 20 million bounty on their head believing their the next best thing to bread and dripping .

p.s We are in for one hell of a depressing season as the lack of urgency from prideless park is AMAZING !! .

If he carries on he'll get a move and become a regular England International in a few years. We have an embarrassment of riches at RB & he only needs to be better than shaw, chilwell & trippier playing out of position. I honestly think if he had a season in the prem he wouldn't be far away from the squad.
He can do everything, good in the air, good at tackling, pace to get forward & can put in a decent cross.

I hate FFP as much as the next man, but I don't think the "shackles" implemented by the EFL are what are causing the damage. Mel has known the rules since he purchased the club and has only himself to blame for the failure to stay within those rules. Limiting spending is not going to put your club at more risk - it might make it a lot more difficult to get promoted, but I can't see how its going to make anybody go out of business. If we'd followed the rules and not tried creative ways to get around them we would be fine.
The fact that the EFL has done basically nothing to help with Covid and is actively punishing clubs who have yet to file their accounts is the main issue for me at the moment. They are completely out of touch and frankly I don't think they will be happy until they have destroyed a few more of their member clubs entirely.

If we cant find a buyer we might as well just start again in non league at this rate. Or sell any sellable players at a cut price and be left with a side of low earning under 23s. We'd be relegated with the lowest points total but might just survive
I do still reckon Rush and co are coming in to save us. Surely were worth 60m to get the club for free & wipe the debts.
Set up a holding company to own 100% of the club, training ground and stadiums companies so they're effectively all the new owners. Clear the 60m debt on purchase, take out another more manageable debt against the stadium for player purchases and have some sensible recruitment in the summer

If you pick out Derby's best 5 players you can see why league 1 is sniffing.
The best 5 now with the exception of Bielik wouldn't get off the bench under Rowett never mind under Mac or even Clement

Are we sure he's the best 16 year old in the country or have we just made that up & said that to move him on?
He must be a good prospect for united & Liverpool to be interested, but they'd probably poach most half decent 16 year olds given half the chance in the hope they make it.
If they make it then its a good gamble paid off. If they dont then they sell the next solanke or ibe to Bournemouth for an inflated fee & see a big return
There have been loads of kids that are apparently the next big thing & drop off. There is more chance of him not making it than making it at the highest level. People develop at different rates and the best 16 yr old now might not be the best 18 or 20 year old in a few years.
For all we know liam delap & Gordon could be the next best think or they end up having a few loan moves & end up being the next harry Wilson or Patrick bamford carving out decent careers but not setting the world alight
Id take the money. We need it, Gordon potential & long term. We need money to sort our short term future out
