We've faced a covid-depleted Huddersfield and Peterborough (who for my money are nailed on bottom 3) and managed to come away with 1 point despite going 1-0 up in both games.

The draw with Salford was nice in mid week, but it shows how far we've fallen getting excited by that.

Rarely has an owner ducked a previously well run club up to this extent. I wish he had never laid eyes on us. The only solace I take is that at least we didn't do one of those behind the scenes documentaries.

Please guys mel tried his best to get club were it belongs and his heart is in the right place he tried spending money into the club bad luck has hit during that time and I just wish people leave him alone he is not the one to blame for this mess and you know who is dont you.

We didn't get where we are Today without doing what we did all those yesterdays. When we are taken over things may stabilise, who knows.

If this has any ounce of truth, I don’t think he’d necessarily think of quitting because we’re in League One. It’d be all the other garbage surrounding the state of the club that would make him leave. And I wouldn’t blame him one bit.

As ever, its a question of context. Looking purely at Jozwiak's output without it, you would be disappointed with his contribution last season. He did struggle to provide quality, got easily frustrated & his decision making wasn't always the best. There were glimpses of his potential quality though, he retains possession very well & no-one could question his workrate or defensive discipline.
Can't think of many harder gigs than being a young lad moving to another country in the middle of a pandemic, into matches with no fans, into a team that struggled horribly all season & with an inexperienced management team to help him. He also got precious little help with the team selections, often being one of only 3 attack minded players in the side (when we went 3-4-3) & hence got even more attention from defenders in our notoriously tough division.
In a good, attacking side he'd be very good & part of me hopes he gets a really good move off the back of this tournament. Clearly I'd rather he stayed with us & tore the division up but the reality is he could fetch good money & he can't be that enthused returning for another season at the fag end of the Championship playing dismal football. To contradict some on here, he's actually too good for us.

Surely he’s allowed an opinion on other clubs, particularly those that he has previous ties with.
I like you would prefer to get our house in order, however SM having an option and voicing his opinion cant reflect on his role here.

Astonished to see McClaren commenting on Uniteds defeat and giving his knowledgeable advice as to the urgent requirements Unitrd need to improve for next season .
I would have thought his mind would have been on the changes required for the Rams next season bearing in mind his part in this last tragic fiasco now playing out. Concentrate on the job ahead Steve and butt out of other clubs .

    1. We haven't had any points deductions yet, so conjecture.
    2. How bad would what have been? Would it not be better to see if there is any punishment before making claims like that?
    3. Mel probably has had enough of the EFL and what appears to be a vendetta against him and the club.
    4. Again, what points deduction? And what quality in the squad? Currently we have a couple of average keepers, a decent full back and good prospect, no centre backs, a few good prospects yet to hit their full potential, an experienced workhorse and an injured star in centre mid, a couple of inconsistent wide players and 1 ageing striker.

HMRC always get first dibs. But anyone who is owed money will lose the vast majority of it. We are massively in debt so there is no credit to be shared out. It’s getting to the stage where I don’t care anymore. Can’t believe I’m saying that after 50 odd years as a fan. I feel totally indifferent to the club atm but developing a deeper loathing of Morris by the day.

Cocu is a 3 times Eredivisie winning manager. Wayne Rooney has overseen us losing 6 games in a row, playing some of the worst football Derby have ever played. There was proof Cocu had done a good job elsewhere. Rooney is failing spectacularly.

People are saying he deserves financial backing. People are saying he deserves a transfer window. People are saying he deserves his own hand-picked coaching team.
If it had been a closely contested battle all the way down to the last day, I could understand this point.
If Rotherham and Wednesday had produced incredible form to keep us in danger, I could understand this point.
But it wasn’t always close. At the end of February, we were 9 points clear of Rotherham and 10 points clear of Wednesday. It’s down to 2 and 3 points respectively now.
But Rotherham and Wednesday haven’t produced incredible form. Wednesday have picked up 12 points in 13 games since. Rotherham have picked up 12 points in 14 games.
For us, it has been a capitulation of the highest order and any signs of optimism from Rooney’s early tenure have vanished faster than a burger from my plate.
And some of us want to reward Rooney with more time in the job? I can’t believe what I am reading.

Marriott did well in his first season, especially when he had a run in the team in October/November.
Got us through the playoffs, scoring in the final even though he was on the losing side.
    We destroyed him after that.

Used to get ambushed every time you went away (it was back in those days) so the five or six local thugs could say they 'ran Derby County'. Away at Darlington, game postponed so was last game, was one - ground was so crap that the fans changed ends at half time. Newport away was another, Hartlepool in the cup we were all in the same end with just a metal mesh between us - every five minutes or so a Hartlepool fan would jump over the wall, run down the touchline and then just jump into our fans for a punch up. Home games were generally dire as the away teams bought nobody (Newport famously had 37 fans).
In conclusion, it was fun to experience but it was a different time. I do agree with the point that we will likely not bounce back up - we're too broken to put this down to a bit of bad luck and start again. Portsmouth, Sunderland and Bolton have all shown it doesn't matter who you were, it's who you are that counts and at the moment we are nothing.
