Thought he was working his way back from a particularly nasty bout of colitis?

Not any good, not fit enough, not wanted = all the same - the point was once the crowd get their chance they can influence managers who want to keep their jobs

Told he's not in the manager's plans. Of course he won't go to Reading, but he will need to think hard over the rest of the transfer window whether to bide his time at Derby and wait it out until Rooney goes, or to take a move now to play regularly and show the world what he's capable of.

Is he finally going to get a start tonight against League Two Salford? I hope so, but am not at all sure he will. It must be soul-destroying for the lad.

Well if we take a look back at Chris Martin under Cocu - I assume Cocu was told Martin wasn’t any good so he never got near the team then a mass of injuries resulted in him being on the bench and he was allowed on as a sub to the loudest ovation I have heard since Paul Goddard returned to the BBG, so Cocu got the message that this guy can play and yes he is very well liked - hopefully when Sibley gets on the pitch he gets the same types of ovation and whoever the manager is they will get the message.

I have been to Poland. Twice actually. God knows what that has to do with anything...

If I recall, he moved to West Brom for around 4 million in a summer where the baggies were spending big, and then were promoted, having joined Premier League Hull for around 6 million a couple of years previous.

4.5k/week is a low wage for a high end championship/low end premier league player, that is a fact, so he'd be taking a cut from his last contract to join. He's older than he was so would be taking a cut anywhere in England, the difference is just how big a cut he would take and whether he'd have better offers elsewhere.

We are not an exciting prospect right now, and I doubt he gives a toss about the "size" of the football club he joins. If someone offers over what we are allowed to offer, he won't be coming here. Hence why I said it was unlikely (not impossible).

We are an exciting proposition right now because we have something to play for and zero income is zero wages and currently he hasn’t got a job

Selling anyone in our current position would be mental.

It’s actually the only way to pay the Bills and to be able to recruit realistically

remember Arthur Cox had to sell Kevin Wilson for £150,000 which funded a whole rebuild

Sorry to ruin the fun but he’ll have been on big wages for a while now. Doubt he’d accept 4.5k a week, and football insider has proven as reliable as a Connor Sammon over the years.

Have you been to Poland not to mention have you been to England £4,500 per week is a hell of a lot of money especially when your income is zero - not to mention Derby county is one of the biggest clubs in England and bigger I would say than your Hull city WBA that he has played for and that’s not being disrespectful to those clubs

Selling Jozwiak wouldn't go to reinvestment in the squad so no thanks. Keep the lad here.

It might be paying the wages of the players we have and the employees at the club ?

They’re offering half a twix and a packet of wotsits.

we want the whole twix, packet of wotsits a bag of footballs and 1 ball boy to cover the whole pitch.

Always strange people buying polo mints and Aero bars which are mostly missing the main product - a bit like  a Blackman or an Anya

  8. It was a great ball in and a giant headed it in - it will happen again !

Lets not get on about zonal marking and man for man marking - we mark zonally for a reason, we are a small side and we have to have height in key places otherwise the opposition just move the tall players out of the way of an area where the ball gets delivered to another tall player.

I would actually like to see us leave two players up front from corners ( although this wasn’t a corner) just to keep 3 opposing players away and give us a chance of breaking on the opponent

Lawrence will probably hit double figures by virtue of penalties. Morrison could up both Tom and CKRs returns to double figures.

Midfield (relying heavily on Morrison, Knight and Sibley) should hit 15 between them. 5 more from defenders, and 5 more from attackers. Would be struggling to hit 50 though.

It's all relative as goals scored is comparable only to those conceded, and is heavily influenced by chances created - double the number of chances CKR etc get and you should double their return.

I like the optimistic view on penalties- we need people in the box with the football on a fairly regular basis to win a fair few of them.

It would help if the ticket office was open. However, it’s a poor turn out unfortunately. Good from Huddersfield in fairness, they sold out.

I don’t think Huddersfield sold out to be fair. I wasn’t surprised at the attendance at all and I stated on plenty of times that I wouldn’t be surprised if 15,000 turned up which was nearly correct. Lots of reasons for all of that.

We desperately need another CF now as CZR can't play 46 + games a season. If we can't get Delap on loan, who do we go for though?

We could also do with another CB, I'd like to think we could get Mengi again for his pace.

I don’t think Richards can even play 90 mins to be honest - I would take Jagielka if we could and I do agree that Mengi has pace but I am sure Man United would insist that he plays which might not be to our preferred options. If we are going to develop a centre half we might as well give Cashin his opportunity to step in when the older centre half’s need help or a rest.

Watson was shoved over and Lawrence perhaps couldn't get the angle right. Still the point is lots of hyperbole about him when others also gave as many glimpses of playing well.

I was in a perfect position to see that Watson wasn’t going to get to the ball before the keeper - it was no penalty sadly

Found Liam quite irritating today. He was constantly jumping from the bench in front of Rooney shouting instructions to the players. I very much doubt he was directed to do this by Rooney and was seemingly trying to manage the team as if he was head coach at times. It must have been quite frustrating Wayne, but he probably feels he cannot say anything.

I do sometimes feel Liam craves the limelight and recognition at times but fails to acknowledge he is the number 2 and at times forgets? He is very confident in his own ability but I do feel he undermines Wayne by procrastinating his own ideas as if he is the manager.

I was watching the football match ?

I suspect he went away to have a think about his “options”. I watched him in the dugout after he came off v Betis and he was all smiles and chatting away to fellow players. Perhaps he re-considered the offer and decided to go for it after some initial reluctance?

I suspect he did, do I sign on as unemployed or get a very decent wage and prove himself as a footballer and if he did well obviously progress either elsewhere or here on more money in the future. The major thing being Derby county is a big football club in this country and he might never get an opportunity like this ever again if he walked away.

A steady performance yesterday in what must of been a difficult few days for him , saw enough to suggest he wont be nowhere near as bad a signing as some people think

He’s been around long enough to know his job - where to stand when to challenge whilst obviously in a race he isn’t going to be quick.

  16. I am not surprised there would be interest in him - young and a full international at a decent level - bottom of the championship is not the arena that he would be wanting to be in but if we sold then we obviously need our money back and some extra as well.

if he wants to be here and give his everything then of course keep him but he is from a different country in a covid world and so far he hasn’t actually given us much, whilst he did have to play in empty stadiums.
