Against Salford I was watching his movement closely and I thought it was very good especially for the through ball which we actually played that night, whilst to today I was watching Richards getting no ball to fight for whilst clearly not being able to run very quickly and I thought against Peterborough Stretton would be a better bet to start this game.
we now have the reality that Richards looks to be out for a long time which leaves Stretton and I hope he does really well especially after his poachers goal today but he needs an attacking partner if he is to survive and looking at it currently I would actually play Ebosele with him to give opponents plenty to think about.

That made me laugh. I'm sure some on here would prefer that!
But I doubt they'd okay us signing a CB when it was a striker injured.
Play him as a forward - it’s not the EFL role to say what you can play and where

I think that’s due to the number of players in those positions. We have quite a few central midfielders (OK none exactly like Beilik) so there’s plenty of cover. We don’t have many strikers, only Stretton.
Even if we could bring one more in it would be jagelka for me unless of course the EFL are actually picking our team ?

Nixons record is 50:50 at best.
We also have been told that we have been in discussions with the EFL on some aspects of our revised submission and that we hold different views.
So it sounds more like six of one, half a dozen of the other and we actually have NO knowledge of who is digging their heels in, over what!
Hopefully we will know a bit more after Wednesday passes

Some big changes are going to happen soon, Mel won’t sit back and let us drift to relegation. Wazza will go, we’ll get taken over or go into administration. Can feel something big is going to happen
Covering your options then

You have to say that everything that could go wrong is going wrong. Makes Cocu's tribulations look like a walk in the park ?
But how can he change things when we can't bring in any players? This is down to Morris, he could have sorted things with the EFL by now. Even the bloke at the Wendies got his act together and paid off the players so they could get players in. Don't see how we can compete with this squad now CKR is out too. One junior striker...
It’s not the same as at sheff Wednesday they have been allowed to spend and bring in players because they actually got a points deduction and relegated - EFL want us to suffer to show off to the other clubs in the EFL

And Sibley he’s not mr innocent!
That was just a foul in the middle of the pitch - happens to everyone who plays there

Roos - took some chances which he didn’t need to
Byrne - two shocking bits of defending cost us dearly, wrong side by miles for the first and went with the wrong foot and then didn’t clear it when given a second chance.
Stearman - decent enough
Davies - decent enough
forsyth - ok but got beat in the air for the first time in phase 1 of the first goal
Bird - some good interceptions
shinnie - some good interceptions
Morrison - did ok and I wish he hadn’t been subbed off
Lawrence - not involved meaningfully
Ebosele - gave us a spark in the first half
Richards - not involved and not likely to be again for a while
subs - Sibley he gives us energy and effort and a threat
Stretton - nice goal and we are going to need a lot more
Jozwiak - absolutely switched off for the first goal against got to do better than that
-
Desperately disappointed not to get anything out of that game
Jozwiak and ultimately Byrne let us down there
-
Didn’t expect Ebosele to get a start so good luck to him
on the bench meanwhile forget the keeper but our oldest outfield player is jozwiak at 23 ????
plenty of energy then !
-
He’s got fire in his belly and he needs to be kept and used - he runs at defenders and shoots and because of that he will score goals ( something we are not blessed with) he will also be targeted by the opposition which means he will win free kicks etc and he will stand up for himself which is what I like to see

Always find myself so disinterested when you draw a team from the same division.
Yes but we will be taking the kids to play them - could be a very interesting night

I dont get the Allsop signing, I would have brought an outfield player in first
He may have had another club to sign for and it looks like we are wanting Marshall off the wage bill

Roos
Bryne Stearman. Davies Forsyth
ShinnieWatson. Morrison
jozwiak. Richards. Lawrence
subs Allsop feasty Sibley Bird Stretton Brown another
that’s what I expect with Bird Sibley and Feasty the likely subs on the pitch
if Buchanan was fit I would expect him to start as we wouldn’t want to be giving Forsyth 3 games a week
-
Interesting game - let’s see who is fit enough to play there?
Morrison was there last season and stearman is a former player as well

For me, he’s the perfect example of our historic wasted transfer fees. He didn’t do anything that a free transfer signing couldn’t have achieved. I was extremely happy he left ?
He did a lot more than Blackman, Marriott, Anya etc

I really enjoyed the game and it was great to see youngsters having a go which also Spurs on the older pros. Obviously we were going to get done at set pieces because we were tiny apart from Forsyth with real experience. Set pieces will be a problem all season which is why we need the likes of Davies stearman and Jagielka hopefully. All the young lads showed promise of a lot more to come.
sad part is that the vultures will be circling for some of them

Well there you go, I am a twerp - I now have my two tickets next to my original seats - but I will celebrate that have actually been able to get the tickets and get them printed - it takes us older ones longer to learn
