Who would you drop to accommodate him?
That’s the tricky one, if festy isn’t fully fit then let donkey start. Possibly for plange. I have confidence in all options though.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I would give sibley a start. Obviously a risk but I feel some game time against a poorer team where he’ll be given more space could unlock some of his 18/19 form?

So from what I understand, Adrian Durham (whoever he is?) “doesn’t want Derby to die”.
However, 1. Doesn’t want us using our senior players who have been out injured for a year scoring goals to keep us within a fighting chance
2. Wants us to have a fire sale because other clubs have had to in the past, losing us our place in the football league because we don’t have enough players to complete our fixtures, effectively killing us because no owner would ever consider coming in at that point.
But yeah Adrian Durham doesn’t want Derby to die! What a completely unbiased great bloke!

I think Thompson has been playing slightly worse each game for the last half dozen games. Not really badly but a little bit worse each time. The last 2 games show he needs a break, If Shinnie was still here I think he would have started the last two. Now we will have to wait till Bielik is ready to start a game.
He has become too negative on the ball. Just passing sideways and backwards taking us into possession cul de sacs. When Bielik can start, Boro? he will be able to come off the bench for him and may some confidence from having more space.
I agree. It’s absolutely no fault of his own as he’s turning out to be a great player. He just needs a rest for a week or two to recharge and refine his game. We’ve just got to hope Bielik is fine so we can alternate bird and Thompson each match.

You are correct with the time span, however this does not happen with National Hunt jockeys, they normally are back racing in under 2 weeks, there is also straping that can prevent the ball from poping out of the joint, which he may wear if it is a discolated shoulder, lets hope it is not too serious.
Let’s hope that’s the case. I just can’t take another spell with him on the sidelines. His impact was clear to see even though he isn’t fully fit. The boy just oozes class.

What I didn’t understand was the fact they were chanting about us dying when they were 2-0 up. At that point in the game there was no need for it. I would have understood it more if we were 1-0 up and frustrating them but there was nothing from the Derby fans to aggravate them. Just shows what a idiotic disgusting fanbase they are.

I was just about crying when that goal went in. I just hope he’s alright, can’t bear the thought of him being out again. If he’s is though, I hope it’s a collar bone rather than a dislocated shoulder. Difference between 6 weeks and 12 weeks.

Birmingham fans are a vile bunch. Absolutely grim bunch of people. I actually thought it was going to be a collective “duck the efl” and the dodgy owners of both clubs but no. Should have guessed that they’d be chanting about Derby dying. They got what they deserved in the end and I couldn’t be happier about it.

I’d much rather sell the likes of knight and buchanan over festy and sibley. In my opinion we’ve seen the peak of knight and Buchanans powers at Derby and although they contribute a lot if we were to get a few million for each of them then that’s a good amount to help save the club in the short term. Festy however is one that can explode into a beast of a player if he can improve his final product. Therefore giving us 10-15m down the line. Plus, if we do have to resign ourselves to relegation then I’d much rather do that watching exciting prospects like him.
Also very pleasing that he himself turned down the red poo down the road.

He explains throughout the interview that he’s not the bad guy and that he doesn’t want to see Derby liquidated. If he’s so concerned for our welfare then why doesn’t he drop the case and start it up again when we’re out of admin if hers so sure he’s going to win anyway? Both he and Gibson are absolute chancers who have no regard for this clubs welfare and they don’t even have the decency to admit it.

Just a thought, why isn’t Gibson trying to sue Villa? They cheated too according to his logic and only finished 3 points above Boro?

I don’t believe this is the fault of the administrators. They’ve not been the most transparent admittedly but as Owen Bradley alluded to, this is purely the fault of the efl ‘moving the goalposts’ just as we were ready to move forward.
it’s actually laughable that the efl maintain that they are “continuing to try and find a solution with Derby”. How can they be putting 100% effort into finding a solution when they’ve got their tongue right up gibsons backside? -
Surely this is getting to the point where we could sue the efl once we’re out of this. How are we meant to show proof of funds when the we need the preferred bidder to put down the deposit to tide us over until the end of the season?!?!
I was of the thought that people blaming the efl for Mel Morris’ misdoings were wrong. However, now it’s quite clear that there is something about them that wants us to liquidate or at best see us relegated down the leagues.
duck the EFL and steve Gibson. The sooner boro’s day of reckoning comes the better.

What’s happened to him? Seems to have fallen off the face of the earth since the summer.

If this is the lineup, hats off to the incredible effort of the academy staff. Who’d have thought that we’d be able to field a decent team with 7 coming from Moor farm. Unbelievable.
