The standard of tennis by both players is unreal. So much faster than even 5 years ago.

I picked a can of the strawberry milkshake beer up last week. I'm waiting for the right opportunity to open it. Tonight, I contented myself with two bottles of Tynt Meadow and one of McEwan's Champion. That stuff (the McEwan's), at 4 for £6, is a bloody lovely beer. For Scotland/ Aberdeen games in Glasgow I stay in the Ibis Styles on Waterloo Street, relatively new hotel which is handy for Central station. The Rhoderick Dhu and Admiral bar are good pubs nearby.

You have to say that everything that could go wrong is going wrong. Makes Cocu's tribulations look like a walk in the park ?
But how can he change things when we can't bring in any players? This is down to Morris, he could have sorted things with the EFL by now. Even the bloke at the Wendies got his act together and paid off the players so they could get players in. Don't see how we can compete with this squad now CKR is out too. One junior striker...

I hope the Aberdeenshire Rams are all well and are looking forward to today's game on Sky TV at 12:30 away at Peterborough United.
Aberdeen's greatest manager Alex Ferguson's boy Darren Ferguson has urged his side to get back to basics. He said it sounds simple, but we have to be solid and work from there. We need to stay calm and stick to the game plan and hope we are good enough on the day. It will be a tough game, but we are looking forward to it. 
After taking my boys to Pittodrie on Thursday night, with the youngest boy's first experience of European competition, I wonder if I will ever get the chance to see Derby County compete again in a European competition. Anyway we all enjoyed the 2-1 win for Aberdeen against Breidablik, 2 goals for Ryan Hedges in front of 15,000 plus fans, on Thu 12th Aug 2021, and it was great to see from the South Stand, the Red Shed (Merkland Stand) bouncing with fans getting behind their team.
I hope the Derby County fans that have travelled to Peterborough today are loud and proud and cheer the Rams on to victory.

That’s the trouble with not banning the cheating twits for life - if they’re young enough they think it’s worth taking the risk as they’ll just be out of the sport for a few years and then welcomed back with open arms….
It gets to the point where you suspect that pretty much any of them could be doping so why bother watching - all that pride in the British team’s  achievements pissed down the drain less than a week after it finished - thanks cheating scum….

That's the 1st batch of dopers suspended and a British sprinter amongst them. Thats the relay silver medal to be handed back. 
Meanwhile, the 100m winner has said he won't race again this season, even though his current commercial value is at its highest. 
Let the floodgates open.......☹
