There is an old Arabic proverb that goes something along the lines of "between the Tigres and the Euphraties Allah created a paradise, but man was not deserving of it, so he added flys"
The same thing is true with scotland, but with midges.
Seriously, had do some work in Devilla forest last summer, i felt like i was feeding every insect within 4 miles.
I can't tel you if it's a "west coast thing" more than east, but the climate is more soggy and perhaps that encourages the little devils.

I'm an East coaster (midge free), but summer holidays to the West Highlands in July as a kid involved lots of failed attempts to swat them away.
July and Aug seem the worst months.

CWC1983 reacted to PistoldPete in Kelle Roos yeah?, he’s gone to Aberdeen init.
Then why would we let Roos go to low end of the SPL which is no more than League One? Roos is better than Hamer IMO.
Bizarre letting two keepers go.

They made that last 5 overs look ridiculously easy.
Did feel a bit for the young spinner going for 60 off his 4 overs and giving away the last 3 runs on the boundary via a miss field.

Cans of Neck oil, by beavertown.
Lovely IPA that some pubs have on tap.

Good effort ?
You couldn't get Carling or Fosters for that in my local pubs In Leics.

£3.80 a pint at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium!
Takes the edge off the £1000 season ticket, I guess.

There's only a week scheduled for International football in September before the world cup.

Last time I was in Dublin, without thinking I ordered two pints of Guiness, and take one for yourself good barman, being used to my local where they'd take 30p for a cordial shot.
He poured the two pints, but charged me for three, weĺl over €20 euros for the round.
Needless to say we skipped lunch the following day.

€7.90.
To be fair, I'm waiting on my mates to fly in from Aberdeen and London so I thought I'd do the tourist thing and go to Temple bar.
Next pub along the street, €6.60, so edging towards UK prices.

The problem really isn't Quantuma.
Never has been, never will be. They're simply the easiest target for the hard of thinking to lash out at as they're the one constant throughout the process.
They're actually the only ones NOT in this with the aim of looking after their own interests. Just because they get paid a lot for their job doesn't change that, much as some fantasist like to believe they're inte tonally dragging it out for their own gain.
If Kirchner stuck to his word and contractually agreed obligations in completing the deal they'd have sold a dead duck of a club and got a very good deal for the creditors.
Nobody else has offered the creditors anything like as good a deal on paper. They HAD to go with that deal.
There's literally nothing they can do if the person who's supposed to complete said deal runs away from it at the last moment.
The stupid notion that they should have just gone with Ashley all along holds no weight, his offer is / will not in any way shape or form the best one for the creditors as long as there's someone else at the table, they couldn't have gone with him.

What will you do if we draw Qatar?
Send the kids up ladders to fix the roof for a few pennies and become raging homophobics? ?

Yep. So many axes to grind, so many biases and so much (mis)information available.
Personal opinion is that it's likely a combination of trigger happy French police, past English fans behaviour, stupid exterior stadium design (if you've been you know what it's like outside), some moronic locals, some fake tickets bought in good faith, some bought knowing they would give a chance of getting in, some Liverpool fans trying to jib...
Unfortunately people want to pin the blame on one of those factors as we need to be able to say *this thing* was the reason. Stupid humans.

Got absolutely slaughtered on here despite being a pretty decent movie. Odd when folk are falling over themselves to tip up Top Boy, and rightly so.

Burnley will be in serious financial trouble now. Irrespective of parachute payments, the buyout last year means the club has massive debt.
