Even the Athletic headline is making assumptions. It could still be a slapped wrist or a fine, like Birmingham got last season when the EFL won their appeal

I think before we judge Wycombe and their chairman, he's just been asked a question and said that we'll see what happens. I don't believe he's even said that he'll take legal action and has apparently denied that he's said as much.

Imagine if Waggy had just said ‘that hurt a bit, no one would blame me for coming off now, and I can get an early start on finding a new club.’
instead he sucked it up, scored 2 and assisted one. even when he came off he was directing traffic, and he cried when we were safe.
I really didn’t expect that, I genuinely thought he’d be beyond caring at this point. Let alone caring that much. Absolutely hats off to him, that was a properly heroic performance.

I remember in 1983 when we beat Fulham on the last game of the season to stay up, there was a hell of a lot of celebrating ??

Give him Mason Mount, Harry Wilson and Tomori & see what he could do - & also don't take over mid season when you are rock bottom of the league
He had a much worse deal than Lampard (or Cocu for that matter) & he has damaged his own reputation by giving it a go.
However, whether he'll eventually be a good manager remains to be seen. Just 1 point from our previous 6 games would have put us in a much stronger position right now

I guess it's perfectly normal for fans to be concerned. After all, we're getting a new member of our family, of OUR club.
If your parents got divorced and your mum gets a new partner, you'd rightly want to know about them, to meet them and make sure they are going to treat her well, look after her etc.
Anyway, Erik, treat our mum well, she's high maintenance & her kids are very demanding !!

So Calderon has locked horns with the powers in the Spanish FA - on behalf of Real Madrid
But he won't have dealt with the clowns at the EFL before ? That'll be an eye opener for him

They say any player aged over 18 and playing in a 'top 5 league' is almost guaranteed a work permit (England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy).
15 points are required to pass the points based system, although a regular player in a top 50 FIFA World Ranking national team automatically gets a pass - Costa Rica, Ghana, Egypt, Romania, Iran, just to name a few. A player to have have in just 1 game for a top 10 country (currently Denmark and Uruguay) gets 8 points
If ranked below 50, they have to be a regular to get just 2 points
Points are also awarded based on minutes played in domestic leagues and more still based on where they finish in the table.
Players get additional points for playing in continental club competitions and extra for progressing further in the competition.
Take Serdar Dursun as an example.
    International appearances = 0 points
    Continental competition = 0 points
    Domestic league = Bundesliga 2 (band 4) = 6 points
    Domestic league minutes = 2099/2430 minutes = 86% = 5 points
    Domestic finishing position = 12th (current) = 0 points
Total = 11 points = no work permit
