SamUltraRam got a reaction from David Graham Brown in The Administration Thread
Got to agree in my experience also.
Americans I have encountered with work are fantastic communicators, have bags of confidence and positivity but when it comes to the real deal it can be disappointing
They certainly talk the talk but do they walk the walk ?- I certainly hope so in this case, in fact i'm desperate for it
Probably an unpopular observation but my mate is an avid Wycombe fan & has contacts close to the top of the club. The American owner and his son ( I know they are unpopular on here) have apparently transformed the club in a good way from top to bottom - I'm talking about off the pitch here - and this despite having no historic connection with Wycombe
Big improvements for the fan experience & really connecting with the fan base, and plenty of progressive ideas. Believe it or not, they apparently don't rate the EFL Committee either !!
So if you get the right American etc etc

Oh, why oh why wasn't he christened "Harry" instead of "Chris"?
We could have had so much fun in the stands, with Harry Kirchner...

I definitely think it makes sense for the Council to buy the ground if it was for £20m to £25m
Don't forget without Derby County in existence they would lose the business rates that Pride Park generates (Middlesbrough apparently pay over £1m a year in rates so I imagine ours is at least as much)
Then the new owners would be paying an annual ground rent of say £1m per year
Plus there's the potential for losing other business rates from local business that might go under without Derby County being around
Then there's things like the Police losing some of their annual income paid for their services on matchdays
The problem I do have is that a new owner for the club sees the ground as the real reason for buying the club - it's a real estate asset & without it they would just be chucking money away running the club

We enjoyed the signings because we stupidly and wrongly thought that Morris and DCFC could afford these signings....but if we knew it was putting our club in jeopardy of course we would'nt...
what?? are we supposed to not like every signing because we think the controller/owner/man in charge of our football club is gambling with our future???? No we/ I thought Morris is a business man knows how to run a business so you trust him......only to over spend....not pay the tax man and then walk away....please wake up and smell the coffee mate....its a ludicrous statement to make saying did we like the signings?? of course we did....what we did not know was we had someone slowly sentencing our club to all of this misery.....He was and is responsible for this and he should be giving the stadium back as he's walked away from debt he orchestrated!! fact?

I am pretty confident if we had a bid of even half that for Lawrence, he’d have gone

SamUltraRam got a reaction from Ken Tram in Rooney - The Documentary
The documentary featured one of Wayne Rooney's first appearances for England - a Euro qualifier against Turkey in 2003 played at Sunderland - he was 17 !!
And let me tell you, that game was very naughty, on & off the pitch
I also remember being in a packed Sunderland pub before the game and all the songs were 10 German bombers & No Surrender etc except one non England related song - " We Hate Derby & We Hate Derby" - sang by most of the pub. It made me chuckle & slightly proud ?
