In recent interviews Carl Jackson of Quatuma has said the action by Boro and WW will have to be resolved before the sale of Derby can go through. If this rumbles on without resolution then surely it increases the risk of the club being liquidated as no buyer will step in with a further £45m claim hanging over them.

It reminds me of when it was reported in the press three days before the play off final v Villa in May 2019 that Gibson planned to sue Derby. It felt like the timing was a deliberate attempt to destabilise our preparations for the match.

So I wouldn't be surprised to see this drag on and be the last remaining stumbling block to a sale after HMRC and other issues re debts have been resolved. I can't see with his history against Derby that Gibson is going to roll over and give up his claim without a prolonged legal battle and this is exactly what we do not want at the moment.

In his interviews at the weekend Jackson said both Boro and Wycombe claim will be resolved in the next couple of weeks....

    His tone was quite dismissive.

  2. Re..Roos criticism listening to one of the most highly regarded keeper coaches in Eric Steele on Radio Derby he thought the first goal he did well to stop the initial effort then was unlucky it crossed the line

The second he thought he could have done better in that he did not need to advance so much, and should have been standing still when the shot came, because when moving it is more difficult to make the save.

There'll have to be an agreement reached with HMRC before we're allowed by the EFL to exit Administration. The Administrator mentioned in his TalkSport interview that they were due to meet HMRC next week, so that will give them a strong indication of what HMRC's attitude is going to be.

There will have been contact and discussions already between HMRC and the Administrators so they will pretty much know each others starting position. Next week will be the formal meetings to see how close they can get the two positions and hopefully they can agree on the solution.

  4. New owners may only have to pay up front say the HMRC and it is possible it could be a negotiated amount smaller than reported.

They then just takeover the repayment schedule with MSD this reduces the initial outlay by a considerable amount making it nowhere near the headline amounts in the press.

I am just speculating here I have no idea if this is permissable under the rules.

We won't be next season and the fact that we don't own the ground is a HUGE deal.

The fact we do not own the ground is not such a huge deal lots of clubs do not own their grounds look down the A52 for one.

Many of the Spanish and Italian clubs do not own theirs and in America too. It is only major issue to supporters and potential investors from overseas will not see it has a deal breaker.

The North stand is usually the least full so do many ST holders have seats there? Also, I thought the availability visible on the website exclude ST’s. If so, any holders still to reserve their seats won’t have an impact on the numbers available we can see.

North stand is the family stand and also a large number of the older age range being it is a midweek game it maybe too late a finish for the kids and cooler night tomorrow along with covid hesistancy stilll may restrict the numbers.

You have to be kidding !! . Sorry he use to do absolutly nothing bar run around with his socks round his ankles on a par with nick pickering and steve cross . He was totally useless .

He was a decent midfielder at that level Div 3  picked up a bad injury at Rotherham and had to play on till the final whistle I remember the game well.

He was never going to be better than that level has a player.

A $5m non refundable deposit. Seems a bit steep just to get a look at the books....

I get they want to deter time wasters but I would presume at that price it's effectively "held" until the club is sold. After all, Six bidders put in $5m each, runs the club til the end of the season....

I believe he said and I failed to put it in the original post they get it back if they are not chosen has the preferential bidder.

Should cut out the time wasters also Simon Jordan said these are good administrators he dealt with them when Mk Dons were set up.
