Ramslad1992 reacted to Andicis in The Administration Thread
The more time passes, the more I'm convinced that the EFL are going to blink before it comes down to it. Liquidating Derby outside of actually doing it, causes a whole host of other issues to contend with too.
Do they scrub all results from teams that have played us? I.e. the teams that beat us get screwed by losing the points? And how does that account for intangibles such as teams that may have had to play us in busy schedules and picked up injuries/suspensions vs teams that didn't play us for a second time avoiding all of that.
It creates absolutely poo loads of more complaints for the EFL to deal with, and we've seen how efficient that are at dealing with such things.

Loved this from @Owen87ITK. He's one of us, when it all boils down to it.

Furthermore, having listened to it more closely, does nobody find it extremely interesting that this guy volunteered to go on Radio Derby?
Why is that? Who is his audience?
It's you. It's Derby fans. That's why he asked "how much do the administrators expect to make from the Derby case?". "Why do they keep missing the deadlines they promised you?"
He's paying close attention to Derby fans becoming disgruntled with the administrators and picked those very same talking points to bring up. He explains very little about why he has a case, and spends most of it laying into Quantuma.
Because he wants to squash our solidarity. I have concerns over Quantuma as well but don't take his word on it. He wants us to fight with them rather than with him

So she expected to hear from them if there were problems & that they haven’t acted in good faith with her
that they’re on Middlesbrough’s side
so she’s written to the minister
she feels there’s levers for government- shouldn’t be standing idly by while we’re put out of existence

I shouldn't post this because it's very offensive to women but it made me chuckle!

Never forget their statement after we got the £100k fine.
When they were "disappointed" at the outcome and "regrettably" could find no grounds to appeal it.
That would be after going through their own disciplinary processes, the processes that are written in the rules, the processes we are all supposed to have faith in coming to the correct conclusion, they still weren’t happy at the outcome and wished they could find a way to punish us further as they didn’t think it was enough.
Well, well done EFL, you found a way.
What an absolute disgrace.

It was never proven to be a debt, though.
Settled before the second hearing into the case, after Boro's initial claim was dismissed.
The allegation was Liverpool had been made aware of a release clause at £5.5m, but other teams weren't, so offered £7.5m.
Gibson reported LFC for tapping up, and then the PL fined Liverpool and the player.
He sued for the difference, and lost, so appealed that, which he was given permission to do.
Naturally Gibson then sued claiming £7m in damages, not the £2m difference, and claimed the extra for covering the cost of firing 3 different managers who'd been deprived of Ziege's services!
The blokes a modern day Nostradamus, making vague claims wherever he can then hoping to settle up before his laughable claims are heard in court.
I hope he leaves his curling tongs on one day, and his house burns down while he's out.

Isn't it great how the conversation has changed over the last 72 hours? Thanks to the valiant call-to-arms of some heroic Rams fans the noise generated has been spectacular.
MPs, media doyennes, City of Derby leaders and 40,000 fans have put their shoulders to the wheel and turned the discussion on its head.
Now it's not (all) about how naughty Derby County are; it's about shining a spotlight on what is fair and appropriate.
Well done to all involved.
