Wednesday so determined to win last week they look jaded and their fans that were relishing the prospect of playing Peterborough instead of us. I hated their gloating.
Especially as they only won by cheating.
    It serves them bloody right.

While we are all in a good mood following the win at Exeter and over the next 2/3 weeks filling this website with our opinions of our next 3 performances, can I take this opportunity to have an early shout out for RAMS TV.
Over the last turbulent couple of years the one thing that has remained a quality constant has been Rams TV, providing us with a professional, objective assessment of our matches (take note Radio Derby). I remember Owen Bradley occasionally commentating on Radio Derby and thought how good and informative he was at the time. He has risen to new heights over the last couple of years and (despite a few dodgy suits) is perfect for Rams TV,  keeping his commentary succinct and to the point. Shaun Barker is the perfect foil and his professional insight is well worth listening to - I can  “see what he was trying to do there” being his catchphrase. Getting Owen to Rams TV a was probably the best decision Mel Morris made during his time in charge!
Obviously, they are the frontmen for a quality team in the background and well done to all the nameless helpers in producing a great service.
So personally, thank you Owen & Shaun for your fantastic work. Hopefully, every one else who appreciates your work will show that by “Loving” this post in a mark of respect, as I know you do read this website.

This is supposed to be professional sport, managers lose their jobs on decision making like this, it's frankly not good enough!
We now do not know what the result would have been if the goal was allowed as we were just starting to get on top in the game anything could have happened.

Sometimes you just have to be honest with what you see. I see us being shafted more than is normal. I've been watching the Rams since 1970 and I have no recollection of such biased refereeing against us since the EFL decided to prosecute us because Gibson was going to sue them.
Every club, including us, always have odd decisions go against them.  We were robbed several times in big games like the European Cup Semi-Final and the FA Cup Semi-Final, the Play off Final v Leicester in 94 etc, it happens, one decision changes the possible outcome. Every team will point to one big game or decision that went against them.
The last couple of years though have been blatant in regards to referees. Its not one major decision like mentioned above, its every 50/50 seems to go the other way, it drains the spirit out of the players eventually when you know your not getting a fair go.

If I am Jason Knight, not David the Derby fan, I’m not signing a new contract with Derby unless we go up this season.
Year left on my deal, the club won’t want to lose me for nothing so will accept a reasonable offer which would be under £5m given the League and contract situation.
It’s a short career, will be plenty of takers out there and a better contract than Derby can offer in the current situation and playing at a higher level.
Would be incredible to see him sign a new contract without promotion, I just don’t see it happening though, no guarantee we’ll go up next season either.
Ok he says he loves it here and playing under Warne, these are standard lines you would expect to hear out of any player at your club so I don’t read too much into them. Heard it so many times before it doesn’t mean much.

I think Wednesday and Ipswich will get automatic. I think we’re in with a good chance. I think with better game management we could have beat Plymouth twice and Barnsley was a wobble. Bolton were outclassed at Pride Park.

He deserves massive credit for the recruitment in the summer as it was a very difficult situation but come on, we wouldn't have even turned round that game yesterday under Rosenior.

Hear! Hear! I was surprised when people questioned Warne not because I’m a “blind faither / happy clapper” but because he so obviously knows what he’s doing. Barring injuries this success will continue and after the awful last 18 months I’d advise Rams fans to continue offering brilliant support and enjoy it. Memories Will be made this season that will stay in your football memory bank for ever.

@Jourdanis bang on the money in this thread.

The moaning and groaning of the Warne appointment was embarrassing. Yes everyone’s entitled to an opinion but
    A. we wasn’t exactly ripping the league up under LR.
    B. Our away form continued to be depressing pre Warne.
    C. It wasn’t like we appointed Iain Dowie, this is a man who’s got promoted 3 times from this league.
    D. After being on the edge of extinction I think DC was allowed to bring his own man in. After all it’s his money.

Anyway now we’re on the up it’s better for everyone and long may it continue.

Early days of Warne was painful reading some views on here.
We had romanticising of Rosenior’s largely ineffectual, frankly boring, short passing game. Using players incapable of playing even in homage to Man City. We had barely put together a good 45 mins of a performance yet it was hailed as great football after he had gone.
We then had people vehemently criticising Warne before we had even played a game based on his perceived style of play from people who had barely ever, if at all, seen Rotherham play.
Then when it didn’t come together within a couple of games it was then lauded as vindication for these opinions.
This thread is just admitting you had prejudged and you’re now apologising for it.

Rosenior was completely unproven. If he was ‘already good’, why didn’t he get the job permanently?
Hull are ‘well up the league’? They were 20th and now they’re 16th. He’s meeting the brief but let’s not over-egg it. He’s doing a respectable job. Nothing more, nothing less.
All of our success is due to the squad Rosenior assembled? What a great way to undermine the job our current manager is doing!
People said Warne would have to rip the squad up to get them ‘playing how he wants’. This has proved to be untrue. People said the football would be a turn off and attendances would drop to 12k. Again, it’s untrue.
We have signed no-one and gone on an unbeaten run stretching back to October. We have played with a left back at centre back, a central midfielder at right back and an attacking midfielder at left back, and we’re 12 games unbeaten in the league. Even many of Rosenior’s signings have performed better since he left.
But of course none of that is down to the current manager, is it?

Just wonder whether it’s the fact Collins is under contract, so longer term player; whereas Osula would have gone back the end of season. If there’s a marginal difference, do you go with your contracted player most of the time or risk demotivating him? Can imagine Collins would be a real bear with a sore head not playing.
Agree though, if we don’t replace Will, it’s leaving us more exposed to injury issues; can’t see Warne would’ve sent him back for that sole reason.

The BBC has been going downhill faster than Franz Klammer for decades. It does still create some superb series and is the master of the period costume drama, but a lot of these are also majority funded from external sources so would still happen if the BBC dropped its forced payment system.
Being told you have to pay for something you don't want in the world we now live in is frankly a joke.
Don't get me wrong, I now live in Canada where the TV is spectacularly bad, so I just don't watch it. I pay for Rams TV and Crave which has all the HBO shows and have Amazon Prime. That is more than enough.

I don't get all this BBC is special, no it isn't. It's just another TV service. I object to being forced to pay for something I don't want. If it was so good let people pay for it on a subscription basis or introduce advertising.
I can understand historically why a TV license made sense. All the infrastructure had to be paid for and it was only fair that those using it paid for it. Times have changed and the BBC is a dinosaur of an organisation.

The BBC needs to get it into their heads that people aren't drawn to watch match of the day because Lineker is hosting with shearer and co rambling on between matches, they want to watch the football. Likewise, people don't turn on BBC breakfast to see Munchetty and Stayt preening themselves and giving us their opinion, they want to know what's happening in the world.
There are many talented people in the country who would do their jobs for a fraction of the price or even for free.
