Rampage got a reaction from Rammy03 in v Peterborough (A) Match Day Thread
Watched that game today. After 67 minutes we took off Hughes and Russell bringing on Dawkins and Bryson. So many good players in our team and a strange choice not starting with Bryson. Fozzy, Bucko and Keogh triple whammy.

Kazim
Allsop / Cashin / Wiliams / Bird / Sibley / Jozwiak / Stretton
(I assume McDonald and Buchanan are still unavailable? Bit harsh on Hutchison but I think that'd be my 18)

Rampage got a reaction from DesertRam in Has the lockdown(s) made you care more about Derby?
Forget all this takeover, EFL, too few signings, Covid etc.
Just get behind Wayne and the team, enjoy it and see how it pans out.

Have we got our own number or do we have to share one with Wycombe

Last night's game had the one factor that pretty much keeps us going - excitement. We need to playing exciting football to engage the fans. Probably got more chance of finishing mid table with that approach.

Ravel slicing across the ball to score was world class. The more you watch it the more impressive it is.

Rampage reacted to RoyMac5 in Louis Watson, what a player. But not as good as that Louie fella, what a creature.
Or even just 'Louie Watson, what a player'?

Rooney has had multiple interviews now, where he has been asked the question about walking away. He consistently says no. We have been crying out for stability and loyalty from a manager since Nigel Clough. He arguably has the toughest job of any manager for as long as I can remember supporting Derby (22 years) and despite having a bare minimum squad and having all the problems above him, he continues to show that he cares and wants to do well.
We are starting to see a style of play which is exciting and attacking with the handful players he has.
I think it's about time everyone starts to show respect to him instead of wanting him out. Any other manger would have left us in this mess.
He's sticking with us, we need to stick with him !!

We did not get the Sheik but maybe we end up with a couple of Kamils at least.

He's also stated that he enjoys defending. Perhaps a more balanced view wouldn't go amiss. Plus why even in a 'battle' won't we be attempting to attack with flair?!

Best three takers up first to get three in net. Much easier for 4th and 5th players to score if already three in the net.

No chance of Rooney being sacked or walking this season. When the going gets tough, Wayne gets tougher. He is utterly determined to succeed at Derby and I think that he will.

Great match. Nearly turned off when they went 2-0 up! What a turnaround.

I suspect Morrison was only in 2nd gear to preserve his energy for Saturday. Played very deep and didn’t get too involved apart from some mercurial switch passes. His goal showcases how he can pull something out of nothing. That will do him the power of good.

Just in passing, on the pens, they were all clean and hard .. I thought Brown hit his with real venom, thought it would bet stuck in the bottom corner it was that much force behind it.

Just got in from the match...
Well,it was certainly entertaining, especially when viewed from the south stand!
A nightmare first twenty minutes where our ongoing defensive frailties were laid bare and I'm sure will be one of our Achilles heals this season.
After that, despite a system of play that seemed detrimental to actually scoring goals, the boys came back into to contention by pure enthusiasm and hard work and and scored some.
I've got to say I really admire our academy players that have come to the fore and in many ways prefer them to our older journeymen.
In the end then,a victory won by the lads endeavour.
