Not too much of a problem with Roos and the goal - let down by those who let the ball cross over through the box. Johnson hit his shot well - hard and low.
However you must only have one decent eye Angie if you think Fozzy didn’t try to leave something on the Forest Lad. He might not have been aiming for his nads, but he knew what he was doing when he trod on him. He will be lucky to avoid retrospect punishment.

Fozzy was a red and we should have had a pen for handball…just my view. I ran the line for Perton U13s a couple of times ???

Disappointing result, and I thought quite a flat performance for a local Derby. To be fair Lawrence played really well, but at no point after we scored did I think it would end anything other than 1 - 1. We started the second half like we had a halftime kip. They were pretty rubbish, and we still didn’t have the resources to get the win we needed.  Going to be a tough season.

I think I actually like this thread more because of sighting of some of the opposition players you forget about as you get older. Bobby Stokes not hard to forget for supporters of a certain age. But Jimmy Gabriel was Saints penalty taker. A few seconds of each of Terry Paine and Mick Channon too made me smile. McGovern and Zak obviously the Rams goalscorers.

It amazes me why every other league club has a ticket office. It’s almost as if they are useful commercial vehicles for selling tickets.

I am glad Morris and Pearce have decided we don’t need all this extra revenue. I suppose FFP going forward is of no consequence to then.

Its the same principle as any other business surely, they make parting with your cash as easy as possible and let you feel as happy about it as they can.
Even basic shops.. don't have to provide baskets or have friendly staff willing to show you where things are or display prices clearly or have parking for you or clean the place or have a toilet...but it makes you more likely to shop there, so they do. Why give people a reason to go for another option? If you're buying a big item, a nice filtered coffee is a pittance compared to what you're buying but those touches are just basic sales techniques.
Recently DCFC seem to have the attitude of 'If you want to come, then you will'. Most fans just suck it up but fringe fans are drifting away already because of the myriad of other reasons, so I can't understand why we aren't going the opposite way and making buying tickets as easy, cheap and desirable as possible.

Brilliant. I didn't know that living overseas and assumed all the fuss was due to people not having printers. No excuses then. Should have been a sell out weeks ago!

I really don't understand why the club can't offer fans without a printer the opportunity to come to the ground a bit earlier and print there. I was on a plane the other day. At the airport they had a simple option of scanning your id in, finding your booking in the system and then being able to quickly print off your ticket. Doesn't need to be even this complex, a few laptops linked up to a few cheap printers would suffice.
I think some aren't bothering because they don't have printers but I think some might not be bothering because they feel like the club isn't bothered about them and appears to be unwilling to put simple solutions in place to help them. This I think has upset a lot of people and you can't blame them.
The club is a business and should be ran as such where the customer/fan is treated with kindness and respect. Sadly this is not the case right now.

Mostly saved me a post there. Just a couple points I'd add
Bird I think is the sort of player that the better team is and the more they try to play football the better and better he will look. Especially when he matures physically. He's the most confident of the 3 will play in the prem mostly down to that things that are holding him back right now are the things that age and experience will solve.
Sibley is the enigma and the hardest to call at exactly how far he will go because he's the most raw of the three. For it's worth I think he might have the highest ceiling of all three of them as his performance against Millwall where he got his hat trick I still stand by is the best individual performance we've seen at the club in a long time. If he's replicating that level of performance regularly then he's going to play in the prem there's no two ways about it. So I think it's partly how much he comes close to that level of performance consistently and I think it's partly as to whether he can adapt to be a slightly more rounded midfielder. Whilst he's been used in wider areas for us it's clear that's not where he's most suited nor will it be going forward. He's at his most dangerous when picking the ball up in central areas, deepish and driving forwards and so I think he probably needs to adapt to being able to play slightly deeper. He's got the tenacity and work rate for it but obviously he can be rash and sometimes switches off. Also he arguably needs to work on having a slightly cleaner first touch.
Knight I mostly agree about but I do think he probably falls more into the general category of top champ/bottom prem given that he's further along development wise than Hendrick was at this age whilst being similiarish players and I think he's showed signs that he could be better than Bryson in time (whilst Bryson never played in the prem that was mostly down to us turning down the offer from Burnley for him).
