Fireworks have been going off near me for weeks now. What is it with people letting them off well before Bonfire night and celebrating too early - madness. My dog is terrified and has knocked the Christmas tree over a couple of times already. 

This thread has taught me one thing and one thing only..

Here we have a 12 year old that was allowed to go out trick or treating for the first time by himself, his mum is complaining he got no sweets as he was too tall at 6ft.

Absolutely hate trick or treat.
Nobody understands the principle at all...its basically kids knocking on doors begging for sweets,  mithering people and as they get older being slightly intimidating.  Most anti social pointless activity ever.
Not a fan of Halloween in general but if people want to dress up, bob apple,  have a Spooky party with friends that's their choice....enforcing it on other people and going round to random houses is just bizarre. 
Only people so self obsessed with their offspring are actually stupid enough to think anyone else really enjoys going to the shops to buy things and then hang around all night waiting to give them out to ungrateful kids and pretend to be interested in their outfits. My kids are not allowed to go and thankfully they think they are too old now anyway.

Wouldn't ban it, but if you ain't got a pumpkin out and someone knocks on the door you should be free to give them sweets laced with arsenic with no punishment. 
People wanna spend money putting up poo plastic decorations and wasting food and dressing up like an extra in the Rocky Horror Show then go for it, but do it with likeminded people only.
Any adults dressing up should also have their children taken into care.

So Derby are not being affected by this “possible’ change of rules, and if there is a rule change Derby will have a vote with the other 71 member clubs as to whether the rule is adopted. Would that not be a more accurate assessment of where we are at the moment?

I have given you a like because I agree with amost everything, but the EFL rules and regs are all approved by the member clubs aren't they? Are the EFL not just implementing policies which the member clubs have agreed ?
