We all knew what a top guy he was in public, but so many beautiful stories of the private messaging he did, especially when people were in times of trouble.

I’m another that doesn’t contribute often but keeps up to date with the forum. I think the fact there are so many like me who feel the need to log in to comment on this thread speaks volumes of how important B4 was to the forum and the club.
I never met him, but I’m going to miss his rallying cries and unwavering positivity on here. His posts always made me smile and second guess my natural pessimistic Derby supporting attitude.
RIP buddy, let’s hope we can carry on from Saturdays result and smash the league in your honour!

I don't often wear "colours" but I'll make an exception for the Bristol Rovers game in honour of Daniel and I hope others like me will follow suit and truly make Pride Park a sea of black and white.

His all round performance was even more impressive, when you take into account his very early yellow card. 
He could have either lost his head and got a second yellow or just drift out of the game altogether in order to avoid a second yellow. But, with no senior replacement on the bench, he took responsibility and got stuck in and had one of his best games for the club.

Presumably even if they don't, most of the first team squad will be rested?

What I can do is create a graphic that can be shared across social media.
I will recover the dcfcfans Twitter/X account to share it on and hopefully spread the word.
Once created I will upload into this topic so you all can share on your own accounts.
I can also create a notice for the top of the forum for the minutes applause.
As for the big screen, I think that's one for the SLO, I personally have no contact details for anyone at the club under this new ownership.
With you being on the SCG with RamsTrust, might be worth dropping them a message through that.

Andy, who is Daniel's dad, has just rung me to say that he has started to read through all your wonderful messages today. They have made him and Daniel's mum Lynne, cry and laugh in equal measure. 
Andy, Lynne, Daniel's sister Claire, their poodle Marley (Daniel was his butler!) and all the rest of the family are very grateful for the kind messages.
Regarding a tribute, they would prefer a round of applause on the 38th minute of the next home League game against Bristol Rovers on 25th November. There will be more friends and family who know Daniel there on that day, so it would seem more  appropriate than the cup replay this week.
 @David and @Owen87ITK, I  don't know if you can help organise this? And is it possible to have a photo on the big screen or is that not allowed? 
Andy has also asked me to share this photo of Daniel's seat yesterday, with a big thank you to all who came up to him to chat or offer condolences. He really appreciated it.

I think if they're a good prospect, even a L2 club is going to want more than a nominal fee which, at this current time, we may not be able to pay. Obviously, I hope we're looking for bargains all the time, but there are undoubtedly limits on what we can do.
Arthur Cox built his team by selling before buying, and that's probably where we are right now.

Just got back from travelling to watch yesterday's excellent win yesterday and just can't believe this.
May his family find the strength to deal with their tragic loss and may B4 see his beloved Rams achieve everything he so passionately would have wished for.

Hi all, I'm another long time reader of the forum but have never felt brave enough to join and post, until now. Like many of you I didn't know B4, but recognised him and his dad at away matches. Last season I was sat next to him at Bristol Rovers, and although we exchanged pleasantries, again I wasn't brave enough to say I recognised him from the forum! If I had, I would have said, as a confirmed "happy clapper" myself, how lovely it was to read his always positive posts, and how his absolute love for our club shone through. It's a measure of the man how many of us are saddened at his passing, even though we didn't know him. Heartfelt condolences to all B4's family and friends, and I hope in time all these lovely messages will bring them some  comfort. 

Damn - not the news I was expecting to read today. This place will never quite be the same again. I always used to enjoy when a newbie would have a go at his spelling and then skulk back under their rock when everyone put them straight. No one messed with our B4!
 

But, has has been mentioned before, if we’d spent a million on “a few good players” (I’m not sure how many such players we would have got for a million) we would have to have spent the money spice - firstly in transfer fees and then again in wages. I’m sure most players that meet that criteria would have demanded a decent pay packet.

The only down side to this thread is the number of folk who have mentioned spirit... and not one of you has mis-spelled it!  
We all loved flanges and scravers of course, but "Spirt" was a personal favourite of mine.  I'm gonna miss that!  😢 
 
Anyway...
Lots of usernames on here that I simply don't recognise.  A couple of dozen previous posts here, a few hundred there.
Countless claims of "Don't post very often but..."
Numerous lurkers clicking away on their keyboard.
Even a few new sign-ups for the sole purpose of passing on their condolences.
And a list as long as your arm, of posters who never met the lad... me included... "But felt like we knew him"!
I've also very briefly touched on my own PM's shared with B4... all at his behest I hasten to add... and I'll not add to that, as those conversations remain private, suffice to say, I shouldn't have been as surprised as I was (shame on me!) to now learn that he pretty much contacted anyone and everyone that had posted of the merest hint of troubles in their own lives... whilst the lad himself arguably suffered more than most.
Every word in this thread points to someone special.  Of that, there is no doubt.  Unique.  Caring to the core.  One of a kind, amongst many of a kindred spirt! (😉)
Arguably, the clearest evidence of that eons old adage "You don't know what you have until it's gone".
I hope to God that if he didn't know then, he knows now!  It's clear how his being... and now his parting soul... has touched so many of us.
He truly will be forever remembered.

Jeez , reading all the posts this morning has brought tears to my eyes as did the news last night , when that happens over someone you’ve never met in person it tells you something 🤷🏻‍♂️,
was wondering if it would be fitting if we could chip in and have this thread printed and perhaps presented nicely in a remembrance book format for his family as a mark of what a special lad he was 

B4 was the catchiest name on the forum. Like so many have alluded to, his posts were passionate, inspiring and positive. Thought about him at work last night and can’t deny it brought a tear to my eye. 
Hope the Mighty Rams do it for you this season B4. God bless 🐏
