I know we are all feeling down but let’s wait to find out what our expected goals were before we all start panicking.

I just don't care anymore. I don't care who's cheating or who isn't, to what extent they're cheating, or whether the rules are fair. I didn't develop an interest in football because I liked accounting and bureaucracy. Modern football is s***. Fans celebrating accounting tricks and balance sheets, whether in favour of or detrimental to their clubs, is pretty pathetic.

I've been to many, many Steve Harley gigs over the years, from an impressionable teenager in the mid seventies to an acoustic set in Whitby Pavilion a year or so ago where the audience was, shall we say, a little more mature in years. He was a wonderful, committed live performer and had a rapport with his audience that felt almost personal. Also a very gifted and probably under rated songwriter with much of his work overshadowed by that one iconic single. Another musical hero from my youth taken too early by this awful disease. RIP Steve and thanks for the memories

Someone's bank balance has increased markedly I suspect. How on God's green earth have they got away with only 4 points? We got 9 for using the same amortisation methodology as we had done the previous two years. These Bamfords have flat out cheated. With every penalty handed out, the feeling that the EFL have gone out of their way to get us relegated grows. Sickening really. Can't see this making any difference at all, so you'd have to ask, what's the point?

Well done to players, management and fans. Stood up and were counted on the biggest day of the season so far. Seven games to go, but there is clear blue water now.

SOME Wycombe fans (and I stress "some") are now in the stage of trying to justify what Coupiggy is doing:
The difference is "pal", that no other clubs actively did things that jeopardised the survival of Wycombe in the way that their owner has now done to 2 clubs.

Unfounded, ha.
Wycombe knew we couldn't defend their claim as we didn't have time and it was a potential blocker to a sale. It was extortion plain and simple. Revolting little club.

Eiran Cashin well hung, he's got a massive knob
He wears very tight trousers, so you can see his knob
He went out with Ulrika, she said "what a massive wang"
And he plays for Derby, have I mentioned his massive wang?

Right, I've been moaning about the state of our performances all season but I'm parking that for the run in.
Off arse or elbow I do not care, just win the games and get out of this tinpot league.

Even though the referee got the decision wrong they still had possession of the ball again but lost it. It couldn’t have happened to a nicer team 🤣

Instead of trying to cause an argument on here why not give your opinion the other way in a positive spin instead of digs at fellow posters in a forum for opinions which people are entitled too!!
I read posts from both points of view pro warne negative warne and can see valid points from both. One opinion is no more valid than the other

And it's becoming ever increasingly apparent that we have been right all this time.

darren22 reacted to S8TY in Paul Warne
Sometimes football is not pure black and white …some don’t seem over bothered with Warne and how we play and others are saying they won’t attend next season with Warne in charge
yet we are currently second which enpowers some arguments/ views but others see it differently
regardless of league position I often find myself thinking …wow this is poor and it’s mainly due to lack of control in the games we seem to want to play percentage football
I remember the Graham Taylor days at Watford where they went from Div4 to Div1 where Taylor employed someone who worked it out the percentages of which ball was likely to end up in a goal and it was quite industrial route one stuff but I guess it was deemed successful as Watford went through the leagues but to me it was awful to watch
managers who have been seen as succesful yet parted company with there teams include Pulis at Stoke and Big Sam at a couple of clubs …why ? Mainly because it was crap to watch and the fans complained but some didn’t mind as long as results were ok
my problem is and it’s no way having a go at others who differ in there opinion but I genuinely find our matches very hard to watch a lot of the time
The first 20 against Charlton I really enjoyed but those passages are few and far between we seem to want to get involved in a chaotic non controlling type of game where we must get it forward sometimes when it’s not really on
we don’t seem to ever play patient controlled football and wait for the right openings …and we have some very good players who would thrive at it in this division especially
L1 is poor , if all 24 teams were of a poor ish standard someone would still be top of that league and that’s where we’re at
I really don’t see anyone as a good side and don’t think any of the top 6 would worry Ipswich or Plymouth from last season
The big problem I see is next season with possibly QPR Reading or Sheff Weds Rotherham ( L1 specialists !! ) Wrexham Mansfield ( who I think will surprise some ) Charlton and maybe Peterborough I think the league looks more difficult
if we make the play offs I can see us playing like we did under Rowett in the play offs …and that was the last time I felt like I do now….where I look forward and get nervous and excited before every game …..then during the game think …this is crap …and sometimes we’re winning when I think that …
I will shout and support my team until the end of this season but I’m not enjoying it ….2nd or not!
But fair play if you are enjoying it

It's based on what has been served up all season, not a knee jerk reaction. I'm finding this constant defending of what is poor football, poor tactics, poor recruitment, poor game management quite tiresome to be honest. It's like some people are being positive for positives sake. I'm guessing these people don't attend the games or don't even watch them? They just look at the league table and think 'ooo that looks nice'.
I'm there every home game (never boo and never will), but I see what is being served up and it is tripe.
Even his bobble hat is crap now.

1) Agreed
2) From a business perspective, I believe the Championship will be worth an extra £7-10m in revenue. Of course our costs go up but who doesn't want this.
I'd also suggest - we stay down, Bird is already gone, I am sure Cashin will move on (We just get a decent fee) so what will we be left with? Our better ball playing players will have left (Bird, Cashin, Hourihane), a manager playing lump it football, a depleted squad size, a manager who seems to struggle to attract good attacking players (Which attacking players has he bought in who are a success - even Wilson for all his skill doesn't contribute much in goals/assists). It's a disaster waiting to happen under Warne.

Will never boo our team at end of match but was tempted last night. If we dont go up I would sack PW immediately. Season tickets will be down if fans are faced with another season of this football in league 1. If we do go up I would still sack him immediately. PW has shown nothing to suggest he will even consolidate us staying up in championship. I wouldnt want PW involved in any way in more player decisions at the club if it was my money. I would hope david clowes is planning for both scenarios and has someone who will give him good footballing advice. Having said that I will trudge for every home match, support team and manager whilst there and trudge home again, and even desperately try for at least one away.

Football is garbage and when the results eventually turn all you’re left with is awful football.

I said it at the beginning of the season and got moaned at - At home we have been ok about twice whilst losing to two league two sides in the cups as well - try selling season tickets to watch that garbage again. We have the players to actually play real football and look decent

Only a fool would sack PW now, DC is no fool so unless PW walks he's here until the seasons end, Charlton not won for 20+ games, Nathan Jones has had an effect, Not the same effect PW has had on us, It's not a good look losing to Charlton, The manager takes the plaudits when we went on a good run...now he's in the firing line...and rightly so.
This division is shyte we all know that, I look at Sonny Bradley and see that PW is determined to find a place for him, We're more suited to a back 4, So that would leave Bradley out of the team, PW has to hold his hand up again and say "I got it wrong again" but he wont.
I don't see automatics now, Chelsea were slated by Gary Neville as "billion pound bottle jobs" you have to have the bottle to lose it, I never thought we had it in the 1st place...excluding Adams.
Some very angry posters on here tonight...and I understand why 👍
