Not sure I agree. Tom is like the other Tom (Ince) no fan favourite or people pleaser but his injury is ankle, apparently on the mend .. who knows ?  a couple of weeks back in training ., ready for the half dozen games ? That could be crucial
He has numerous faults, don’t we all !  but at championship level he is a game changer, regardless of what he does .. they have to watch him closely.

Right ... but...  there are quite a lot of targets there - saying hit them, doesn’t equate to a bullseye. You have to actually doit ! right now I back our lads to keep fighting and raise the ratio of goals scored per game. Waggies poor form in front of goal won’t go on forever, Lawrence still has something to give and I haven’t given up on Roberts on the strength of one iffy game.

There will be more than 3 teams below us come the end of the season. In Wayne I trust COYR

If we pick up one or three points and average two points per game then we're fine.
Very few points separate a lot of teams so basically we need to lose as few games as possible.
I don't anticipate us playing too much exciting flowing football in our next 16 matches.
Most of the time we'll be cheering the final whistle!

Ffs, if we win our game in hand, we’re ahead of forest. So if we’re worried about teams behind us catching us up, why not hope forest loose instead. Even if Rotherham won against forest, they wouldn’t go ahead of us, but forest could in that scenario.
this thread is annoying me now. So many people pooping the bed over other teams results. It’s all in our hands, we just need to keep doing what we’re doing.
‘Oh no, some teams are putting together some good form’ - yes, we’re one of them, check the form table.
‘but any teams can go on a bad run’ - yes, they’re called Birmingham and Bristol at the minute.
there may well be some twists and turns to come, but we are well out of this now. People just love to have something to wring their hands over.

Try walking up the down escalator, That's what WR was dealt, He was given a Pigs ear to try and make a silk purse, This squad is head and shoulders better prepared than what PC left, I'll say it again...this division is unforgiving, We were down with the dead men once upon a time, WR has given this club a sense of belief, There's not even a thought from me that we will be in danger of going down ?

I've always said we'll be more than comfortable by the end of the season and I still believe that today.

So after today, I think the next two games will set the tone for the rest of the season. The season is at somewhat of a tipping point.
If we win the next two, you would have to think confidence will be too great for us not to pick up the remaining three to five wins that would see us safe.
But if we lose or draw the next two, then we have three tricky away games on the spin to follow. It is easy to see how things could unravel from there.
Time for us to step up and deliver next week and allow everyone to breathe easy.

Looking ahead to tomorrow where all the teams below us will look at this as a good opportunity to drag us right back in. If we can hope for another set of "perfect" results, then it would probably be...
    Brentford to beat Cov
    Swansea to beat Huddersfield
    Norwich to beat Rotherham
    Blackburn to beat Forest
    Weds and Birmingham to draw

He’s 19!! 19 for crying out loud! To think anyone can make a judgement on him one way or the other at such an age is beyond me. Maybe he’ll turn out great and maybe he won’t that’s what happens with young prospects. I remember thinking Miles Addison would go on to greatness but he didn’t. To say Sibley is this or that is beyond bizarre in my view as he has so much time to learn and progress, why judge him at 19?

I accept that Waggy hasn’t been in great form but he does bring something .. he covers, works for the team and despite the fact that it isn’t his role, he does break up play pretty well. He is a bit of a disruptor and doesn’t get pushed around. Add in that he can strike a mean corner. I am not worried if Wayne sets up a team without him but have no problem if he is in the line up. I know he is a 100% team player without an ounce of mardy in him.

Great effort from the Forest lads tonight.
Didn't give up, kept believing and managed to get the defeat over the line in the end, the bottom three dream remains alive for Forest, although with increasingly crap competition from Birmingham they are going to have to give it everyhting they've got to make it to the league of the big boys like Portsmouth and Sunderland.
