Premier ram reacted to DCFC1388 in Relegation watch
Boro will be up for it vs Sheff W because Warnock hates them
Barnsley could almost confirm playoffs if they beat a tired Rotherham in a local Derby
Birmingham will be pretty much safe so hopefully will play into our hands
All things that COULD work in our favour

IF we win at Birmingham, IF Rotherham lose to Barnsley and Brentford and IF Sheffield Wednesday lose to Middlesbrough at the weekend
Yes, a lot of IFs, but it would put us 7 clear of Rotherham with three to play and Sheffield Wednesday unable to catch us.
After spending all day planning League One life in my head the minor glimmer of hope is back. It's the Derby way.

Jeez that was like watching Dr Who in the 70s from behind a cushion. First and only time I'll say this but thank you Boro'.

1 down 5 to go
Can Rotherham fail to get 4 points from 5 games? Can Sheff Weds fail to get 4 points from 3 games?
Can we manage another point ourselves? Will we score another goal?

How have they not sacked him yet.?

This is a good valid point...imagine no promotion and relegation like the big boys want.....would make most of the season a bore....promotion/relegation/play offs etc keep the interest for the majority for most of the season ....FWIW we will beat PNE and it won't go to last game just my opinion

No one is getting ahead of themselves and no one is complacent but this result is seismic. You’re saying minimum 4 points to put things beyond doubt, I think you’re right with this but before the game it was probably 6 or 7 points to make sure.
We have an opportunity to bury Rotherham now in the next 2 games and make the end of the season more comfortable. But we need to get this done, scraping draws here or there is dangerous and could lead to us going down (and deservedly so).
We will get it done this week but then I’m an optimist.

Rotherham could play a game every day from now til the end of season, morning, noon and night if they want, and they still won't catch us. We are staying up.

Avidly following a Rotherham match, and feeling like a lottery winner when Birmingham City score. What a time to be alive!

We have absolutely no need to keep in touch with teams above us though, there are no prizes for finishing 19th rather than 21st!
The only thing that matters is keeping the team in 22nd as far away from us as possible.

It's a lovely spring day, I'm fitting new fencing in the garden.
Only Derby effing County could make me down tools to watch a game I normally wouldn't open the curtains for if it was played in my garden.
