The mid season where he scored 7 goals in 11 games is I assume what the poster is referring to.

I just think that the threadbare nature of the squad is beginning to tell, just like it did last season. They can't keep up the pressing game two or three times a week without being able to fully recuperate in between. Just my 2 penn'orth
 

Some slating Hourihane is laughable IMO
If we wanted players who will run through brick walls and have constant energy like Knight for example we would not have signed Hourihane at all
He has scored some good goals and assisted quite a few as well so guess what ? if you take him out I don't think it would help.... He has never been a marauding CM and has value on the pitch for me as long as the other mids balance it out
To say he is one of the worst signings ever is a joke quite frankly....Mikkel Beck , Bob Malcolm , Derek Hales , Claude Davis , there's plenty of players deserved of that title and Hourihane is not one of them 
 

Saying it isn't Warne's fault for low energy and being off the pace isn't saying that Warne is completely free from all blame or that he doesn't influence things. It's a fact that we use less players than other teams and have a smaller squad. That's a reasonable analysis of the situation. 
Blame Warne for things that he can control. But with context, and reason. You act like he has a cult around him, when in reality people are just defending Warne as he is limited by what he has to work with.

Just bought my ticket for Peterborough even though it was never my intention to go to this one and despite yesterday's abysmal performance.
It feels like this could be a massive game.

Give it a rest with the Warne bashing… whilst we had full squad available selection available we looked half a yard off the pace all over the pitch.. that is not down to Warne, the players are likely to be more fatigued than than other squads.
We need to avoid defeat against Peterborough and then recharge, regroup and emerge energised with drive, purpose and desire after the international break. 
 

Hi guys, Wanderers fan here, that’s the proper ones not the Wycombe imposters?. It’s getting to the business end of the season now and though the likes of posh and Wycombe are pushing I don’t see either you or us dropping out of the top six. We’re just coming back off a bad run following our Pizza Cup win to Wembley which seemed to unsettle us badly. We’re also getting our injured players back and were able against the Wendy’s on Friday to play nearly our strongest squad and it showed. We really should have won as we totally outplayed a very strong Owls team in the second half. We don’t play again now until April so there’s a chance for others below to overtake us but I’m not worried because once we’re back to it other than the Shews away and Plymouth at home we’ve no top sides to play and our last few are at home. Assuming we make the play offs, which I expect to be us, you Tykes and Plymouth who I think Ipswich will pip for the final automatic spot, I’m not really fussed who we play because the best four teams are all pretty well reasonably matched and can all beat each other on a given day. Past results are irrelevant and all four clubs have good managers so the fare should be football related rather than the shytehousery of some of the others the best footballing team should win? Seeing as we don’t play again beforehand I’m happy to wish all the best of luck to you for your remaining games. ?

Still think we'll make the Play offs, as long as Didzy stays fit that is.

78 points will get us in the playoffs this year. 4 wins 2 draws 3 losses. Not time to panic yet.

Peterborough and Ipswich will be really tough.
But provided we don’t lose both, things should still be in our hands.
Even then, we play MK Dons and Burton at home and Forest Green, Exeter and Bristol Rovers away in the five games after that - which are awkward but all winnable if we play anywhere close to how we know we can.
Today was a bitter pill to swallow but we are still in control of our destiny.

I'm struggling as to why Hourihane is getting pelters for their goal when one player was covered in a 3 yard radius by two central defenders and a goalie.
As a midfielder you assume they'll do their job as their coming across and standing directly in front..  The other option is too tackle from behind.  Forsyth ran straight past him and Davies fell over.

We're certainly in a slump, but there was always the danger. We have used far less players (due to the circumstance we're in) than just about any other team in the league, and a lot of our players are over 30. To maintain energy levels was always going to be a monumental task. If we can limp into the playoffs, we're still in with a chance because our first 11 if fit and healthy is still capable of dragging us through, but our lack of squad depth is causing serious problems now. 

Have you considered that maybe it's because we're just not very good? and the group of players whom were flung together at extremely short notice last season just to give us a semi competitive team are little more than an ensemble cast.
And now that limited group of players is effectively knackered coming to the fag end of the season. Looking at the age profile of some of the players we brought in little wonder.
We usually beat lower table opposition as that's why they're towards the bottom of the league, doesn't need a brain surgeon to work that one out. But we're not that good to consistently beat teams in the Top 6 which is why our league position is a fair reflection of the status quo. 
But of course some will attribute these "failings" down to the manager. 
I am pretty happy we have a semi competitive team after last season whom are still very much in the hunt for a playoff space.
For others that appears to be totally unacceptable. Each to their own I guess.

For Peterborough I wonder if some of those in the earlier categories were waiting to see what happened with international call ups before buying as didn’t expect to be so many left.
I was hot off the draw and got mine, which takes me to the magic number of 5 to bump me slightly up priority for next season (I’ve done 7 including cup games but don’t think they count.)
