Fortunately the readership of that newspaper is very very small, and unlikely anyone north of Notting Hill will read it.

Not widely read amongst the average football fan, also the "satirist" is extremely unfunny

I see a great double.  Derby for promotion 16/1 doubled with Forest for relegation 12/1 that is worth putting a monkey on, close to a hundred grand back, or even a treble Derby for promotion with Forest and Boro relegated. would be over a million back

He already has lost his health and enormous amount of money, yet 20% want more punishment and 5% are uncertain?
    Jeez, give it a rest.

Yes agreed, also he was the all time penalty taker for the rams with 21 penalties, next was dean saunders with 10 then Gerry Daly with 9 .

There's understandably much anger against Mel and his running of the club.
But bottom line is we are where we are. Mel is still trying to keep things ticking over, the EFL are trying to stop him.
Do you really need a pound of flesh (one definition: something that someone owes you that you take even though it will cause them to suffer)?
I don't. We need to move on and we can do that even with Mel still in charge, in my opinion obvs.

Depends how much below 20k. 18k or 19k would be disappointing but not embarrassing. I wouldn’t be surprised if attendances all round the championship are lower than you’d normally expect even for an early August game.

Not sure the “club is a joke” comment is really necessary.

its all about the debt......Mel will want to walk away from the external debt if he sells for a pound, the incoming buyers will want him to eat that debt so the final sale price could be +£1 - £40,000,000= £39,999,999 for the buyer to pay
I guess this is where the negotiations are.

Gringo got a reaction from Jourdan in What do you prefer as a Forum Reader?
My view is that the forum has lost all semblance of neutrality with regards to the owner/manager/players and is now just a tidal wave of negativity. The more outrageous the more obnoxious and the more personally abusive against the owner and the manager is roared on and encouraged by the baying mob, in fact I am not ITK, but there is a strong view amongst my mates that some posters could be being paid by a certain curly haired twot to demoralise our fans and players. I have a very simple rule "Do not post anything online about anyone that you would not say to their face"
Try telling Wayne Rooney to his face that you will drive the taxi so that he can eff off from the club, I would pay to see Waynes reaction to a "fan" doing that.

Gringo got a reaction from The_Sheriff in EFL regulation 24
EFL regulation 24 covers the fielding of a weakened team in a championship league game see below,
Regulation 24 The Requirement to Play Full Strength Sides in League Matches
24.1 Each Club shall play its full strength in all Matches played under the auspices of The League unless some satisfactory reason is given. In the event of the explanation not being deemed satisfactory the Board shall refer the matter to a Disciplinary Commission which has the power to impose such penalties as it shall think fit.
My preposition  is that if the EFL forces DCFC by means of this Embargo, to knowingly have the Rams field a weakened side at the start of the season, then they will be guilty of breaking their own regulations, and to my mind if we some months later we were able to strengthen the team, and go on a good set of results, we could seriously affect both relegation and promotion in the league.
My view is that given we only currently have without any additional players a team that will find it very difficult to get results, then the EFL is playing with fire, and for once maybe it could be Mr Gibsons team that could be adversely affected.
I am going to write to the EFL to point out they will transgress their own regulations if they do not see sense.
