The waterpark Siam Park is really good but obviously not if you are just looking to chill out.

Yeah we looked at that it looks like a good day out.  Quite fancy a dolphin/whale spotting boat as well.

  2. Came back from Florida a few weeks ago, and seeing as it was a rather packed schedule while we were there, Mrs Ramsbottom decided she wanted a more sedate week away in the summer.  We've ended up booking a week all inclusive at the Hotel Chatur in Costa Adaje, Tenerife.  Anyone ever been round there???

I bought one of the original LG OLED TVs for about £2200 a few years back. I paid the £6 monthly for "anything/whatever happens" to Currys.

After 2 years, the yellow Sky Sport banner had burnt into the screen, so I took it in to be repaired. When they hadn't repaired it within 10 days, I demanded a new TV, and they gave me a voucher for the equivalent TV (about £1400 by this time), I added £100 and bought a Sony Bravia OLED, cracking TV. I still pay the "anything/whatever happens" in case something goes wrong with this, and it did reboot every now and then, but there was a setting I changed and it's resolved now.

My Bravia does that.  What did you change??

I also think Ben Osborne would be a good fit. Versatile player, at the age who knows what it will mean to wear black and white being a Derby lad.

Plus he's got a good engine on him.  And he seems to have that little bit of needle about him, that we've been missing.

I wouldn't mind us taking a look at Josh Harrop as well.  Had a good couple of seasons at Preston before doing his ACL, good set pieces and is a bit of a dribbler.  Still only 27 and I think his short term contract at Northampton is up...

I assume this one didn't have his responsible adult to proof read before he posted this drivel.

Probably the same kind of mong that's constantly spouting off about "lEVeLs"...

I for one haven't been so excited about potentially reading "The fee is thought to be in the region of £500k" in my life!!

Let's just hope that we learn from recent history and start pissing & moaning about "Barker size fees", and having no ambition when we haven't smashed the piggy bank to sign X,Y,Z...

I wasn't the only one thinking this thanks mate. The 'esteemed' panel on Sky Sports News this morning thought so too. Warne thinks not being a top 6 finish is a failure too.

So why are you picking on me?!

The Sky Sports panel also said that if we didn't get in the play offs and/or went up they feared for Warne's position, instantly confirming their opinion is utter drivel...

Yeah. It's difficult to not reply to point out the ****** of his comments. Arghhh trollstruck again! 😄

Lets face it.  He only uses these pages to practice writing 🐮💩 for his HITC articles.  Those 1975 Club America away shirts don't pay for themselves you know...

I used hyperbolic language at times to describe the job he’s done mainly because it was bank holiday with a few beers but an honest assessment for me is that his season has been around 6/10.

To put that into context I would have given Lampard a 6/10 and Rooney a 9/10.

Agreed with you right up to this bit.  I'm not sure how you can rate the underachievement of Frank The Fraud with Warne's as the same is a little crazy considering Fwank was given a stupid amount of money for signings and was gifted (by conservative estimates) £150m worth of loan talent.  Taking that into account I'd rate his season as 4/10 at best.

As for this season, there's been ups & downs for sure.  Looking back the bad run we had after January was the real nail in the coffin, but I always like a manager who can work their way through crap times to find a solution and he did.  I for one have really enjoyed the season as it's the first where my lad has really got into it.  He's about to turn 14 and is in full on 'Kevin Mode' so any activity that allows us to talk normally is precious to me.  And now direct debit payments are back for season tickets, I'll be purchasing for both of us.  If one was so inclined they could go back through my old posts and see I said around January that I'd be massively disappointed if we didn't make the play offs, and I am, but considering where we were 12 months ago, any appearance in them would've been a bonus.  And I'm confident that as soon as he's licked his wounds and dusted himself down, Warne will bring us back stronger.

Now I'm off to make a voodoo doll of Marvin Johnson.  The diving little Bamford!!!

The guy who opens the door knows the reaction that's coming, can barely stop himself laughing...

Ainsworth, Redknapp, Warnock, Holloway, Gregory, Francis (Gerry & Trevor)...  What is it with QPR signing absolute whoppers as manager???

The real issue is that we can’t have the ever increasing numbers of undocumented people turning up on our shores for many reasons least of all we can’t check they’re background and motivation, we are already seeing the danger in terms of crime , we are seeing people claiming to be children who clearly aren’t which may play a part in the number of recorded children going missing ,

surely nobody can claim we do not have a growing problem that really needs addressing?

Of course it needs addressing, but the reason all our hotels are full of people wishing to claim asylum is that our wonderous government have cut funding and staff to process them.  The number of people wishing to claim asylum in the UK has been relatively stable for years, but the amount of applications processed has declined.  Just like everything else they've screwed up over the past few years, they're using any old excuse & soundbites to convince the electorate that it isn't their fault.

They’re looking pretty certain now right?

10 games remaining. Even if we pick up a mediocre 15 points from that lot, Wycombe would have to win 7 of their last 11 to overhaul us. That’s not going to happen.

They say the playoffs are a lottery.

But for me it has that feel of when we reached the playoffs under Gary Rowett. Feels like we are in there with better sides than ourselves.

I still back us over 2 legs against those who currently occupy the play off berths, bar maybe Barnsley.  We gifted Ipswich the win at their place and we've had the better of Bolton home & away.

Plus I don't think Warne would be stupid/negative enough to try and defend a semi 1-0 aggregate lead, by putting 11 men behind the ball like The Snake did against Fulham.

Why does slotting the equaliser in against germany give him the right to call people that want the boats stopped nazis. He has got the money that it does not make any difference to him, waiting lists, housing ,energy bills.

He didn't call him Nazi's did he.  he pointed out that the rhetoric being used by the government is very similar to the language used by the Nazi's in the 1930's to stir up discrimination towards the Jewish population.  And judging by the fact you seem to be blaming waiting lists, housing & energy bills on refugees, you've fallen for it hook, line & sinker...

I wonder how many people actually watch MOTD specifically as Lineker presents it.

Would be interested to see whoever they get for tomorrow's show the relative viewing figures.

Hopefully won't be much of a difference so Beeb realise they are getting crap value for money out of Lineker and bin him anyway

Well I for one won’t bother tuning into it tomorrow.  I think the whole thing stinks.  Especially when you think that supposed hardened journalists like Fiona Bruce & Laura Kussenberg have been giving The Tories an easy ride for years, and as for Andrew Neil…

I bet all these bitter & twisted gammons, clutching at their pearls, demanding he was taken off the air, were dancing in the streets when he slotted in the equaliser against Germany at Italia 90.  Hypocrites…
