See the interview earlier: It's 25 getting the overhaul, not 24.

Not that I've played FM since... I have no idea now but I know I was at Plymouth and I think I had Jamie Mackie, but also I had a young RB/CB who was a proper star for me but who's name I can't remember.

I ended my FM days on a high at least, taking Plymouth (and that RB/CB) to the brink of Europe before I had a falling out with the owners about their lack of ambition to take the next step and resigned.

My bad.  The import thing is for 24?

  2. Finally got into Succession a couple of weeks ago & binged all 4 seasons.  End of the last episode I asked Mrs R what she thought...

Mrs R - "It was crap."

Ramsbottom - "Then why did you sit through it all?  I'd have been happy to watch it on my own"

Mrs R - "I thought it would get better"

    Personally I loved it.

On a side note, I used to stream all the Disney+, Peacock, FX stuff via Primewire & my Apple TV, but it looks like the authorities have caught up with them.  Any one know of any reliable alternatives that aren't full of malware???

When did 5th on the grid in Formula 1  become P5 on the grid? And 3rd place tun into P3?

When did footballers start to have foot races to the ball instead of the more traditional race that must have been so confusing to everybody?

When did a new series on TV no longer come out, but drop?

And when did presenters stop covering all the stories so they could be across them all?

And when, or more pertinently, why, did British people start saying baby mama and baby daddy?

This is what 4 months without alcohol does to you. It sends you all bitter and twisted.

Name some more that I can wind myself up with.

"Stream now or watch Live".  It's a pre-recorded show, so how can it be live??!?!?!??!?!!!?!?!!

I have FM20. Is the 23 any better?

For me, the better would be an overall harder game with a lot of psychology, group dynamics, and media & fans involved. It would also be nice if the tactics somehow would matter...

23 is definitely better than 20, but I'd recommend waiting til Nov and getting 24 as there are major changes this year.  Almost the whole game is getting an overhaul, but the best thing is you'll have the option to import a saved game from previous versions.  I'm over the moon about this because it means I can continue with my current save which has us 5th in the Prem during the 28/29 season, having won the caraboa cup, EUROPA league & the Super Cup (4-3 vs Real Madrid) the previous season...

Probably an unpopular opinion but I'm not a fan of tika-taka either and agree re: Roseniors' style of play - I understood the philosophy, just found it boring. PW has a proven formula for getting out of L1 so I'm happy to back him regardless of the style of play he employs to get us back to the Championship.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want to sit week in, week out watching King Bill-eh's 10 men behind the ball after we'd scored or, Rowett's keep things tight 'til Vydra get's a goal styles, so I think we all want to be entertained.  I just really struggle to understand how anyone thinks Warne's desired way of playing is boring.  I'd much rather sit through 90 minutes of AC/DC than an hour and a half of Michael Buble'...

  6. I’m not the biggest fan of Pep’s tika-taka stylings, but I didn’t think much to Rowett’s hoof ball either.  I really struggle to understand what people find ugly about Warne-Ball.  We still play out from the back where possible, but if it needs clearing to the flanks, we clear it to the flanks.  There was plenty of times under Rosinior when we played ourselves into trouble, 20 yards from goal.

I’d happily watch us score goals like our 2nd & 3rd from yesterday, for the rest of the season.

  7. Whilst I don't think he's capable of getting near Didzy's record from last season, I still think there's a good finisher in there when the service is to his liking.  If Warne goes with 2 up top I can see him being a useful fox in the box type.  He's certainly not a lone striker and I think he suffers from having to do too much in the build up because he prefers to run the channels.

As others have mentioned we need a couple of others to chip in with a few.  I'm looking at you Messers Sibley & Barkhuzen.  It's worth noting that Plymouth's top scorer last season only bagged 13, so it's entirely possible to go up without a goal machine.

Personally I would prefer your banning response.

If it meant I didn't have to sit and read s**** topics started knee-jerk, armchair pundit bamfords like yourself, who think we should start spunking the dosh immediately after coming out of a 2 year embargo, just because we're Derby County, whilst displaying the kind of self entitlement you expect from the "the world famous" scroats from up the road, a ban might be a blessing in disguise...

Come on then, be truthful, who is worried that Warne is struggling to find or convince any decent strikers to sign for us for the coming season. Conor Washington they yell. Prosecution rests its case.

As I don't want to banned, this is the only thing I can really reply with...

Would love to have gone but I stupidly knocked my wife up at the wrong time and it’s our daughters birthday on Saturday.

last time I went was to see Tool on the Sunday of 2019.

Ironic that you swinging your Tool stopped you from seeing them again this year..

Anyone rich or posh enough to have been to Center Parcs?

Went to the Sherwood one once and have never been back.  You wouldn't mind paying so much if all the activities were included but on top of forking out £1200 for 3 days, they expect you to cough up a fiver for 15 minutes of table tennis!  Rip off!

We love a day out in Skeggy (usually go when we're camping for the weekend in mid-Linconshire).

Fish & chips / 2p arcades / fairground rides etc.

Lovely for the day. I would imagine it's pretty grim if you go for much longer.

I love a day in Smeg, as it always reaffirms that I am a perfectly presentable and articulate human being.  TBH I don't mind a lot of the seaside resorts as I love people watching.  But Blackpool really is a toilet...

I'm flabbergasted he's been given another year. Absolutely ridiculous decision. Incredible lack of ambition from Derby. The bloke's a serial loser. He was the weakest link in the 2014 Play-Off final team & he's still here. No wonder we never achieve anything 🙈
