I was at Carlisle, despite the awful football we are playing.
My love for Derby County is unconditional as is my love for beer, jaffa cakes and Clare Grogan.

I go to pretty much all weekend games. Living in London midweek games are rarely feasible so I watch on RamsTV.
My support of a manager is dependent on results / style of play - my support of Derby County is not. I will be there whatever, just as I was during administration. That is, unfortunately, the price of loving a football club.

I’m not going to stop supporting my team because of the manager. No matter what I think of the football, I’ll be there to cheer them on.
I come on here to say what I thought about the performance. That’s the point of a forum. I’m not trying to achieve anything, just positing my opinion. If you don’t like it, put me on ignore and create an echo chamber.

The 11 point record doesn't bother me. Any football fan you chat to will want to talk about it and listen to stories about it.
One fan I met couldn't believe that I had a season ticket and went to every game. He said after about 10 games he would have stopped going and probably never gone back the next season either.
Its a badge of honour for me among friends who support massive clubs and have seen them play maybe once or twice in the flesh that I kept going and still do.
Worst team in history? Yeah we were. The fans showed they were anything but and we should be eternally proud of that and own it as a club and a fan base.

Thoughts go out to Josh and his family, incredibly sad news and as @Jayram said above, puts everything including football into perspective.
Footballers are human, as are the staff, you never know what battles are taking place in their personal lives off the pitch.
Would be nice for us to donate to a charity of Josh's choice when he is ready to think about anything like that, I have no doubts the club will be supporting him as much as they can.
    f*** cancer.

That is absolutely heartbreaking news. It puts everything including football into true perspective doesn’t it? I’m sure the club and staff will be supporting him all the way as should we. Maybe we can donate to a cancer charity of Josh’s choice or something. Thinking of him and his family.

My word, there’s few things in life that are as bad as that. Glad to see teammates and (presumably) the club supporting him.
I hope we, as fans, can organise some show of support for him and his family. Whether it’s charity or some display.
All the best Josh, take as long as you need.

Very sad news for Josh and his family, the support from his colleagues will be needed at a difficult time like this, sometimes there’s more to life than football. 😔
Perhaps something could be arranged by fans to show support at the home game? Applause at the 31st min or something?

I suppose you could factor in that not all Derby fans are travelling from Derby. I know it’s not going to be a massive amount, and the majority are travelling from Derby to home and away games.
But it is always worth factoring in the minority in all these scenarios like the football club does, because we are a football club that has fans that travel from all parts of the UK and from all parts of the world.
So people might be able to make away games instead of home games because they might be nearer to their home of residence eg Carlisle away for myself, keeping travel costs down etc.
Even though I’m in a minority, we are still an important minority, and the fact we all follow Derby over land and sea, and some of us are just a minority, we are Derby County and we are fkn massive!!!!

    Date: Saturday 26th August, 3PM
    Venue: Weston Homes Stadium
Form Guide: Peterborough have started the season well as they aim to put their playoff nightmare from last season behind them. Their 1-0 defeat at Northampton ended the 100% record they opened up with in their first three matches. Impressive wins at Reading (1-0) and Barnsley (3-1) came either side of a 1-0 success over Charlton in their only home match to date. Nine points out of twelve sees them handily placed in third position albeit just three points ahead of ourselves.
Danger Men: Mason-Clark, Poku and Clarke-Harris are perhaps the trio most likely to get on the scoresheet. Often the most free-scoring (and conceding) of teams at this level, it is perhaps a surprise that their four matches thus far have only yielded seven goals in total (scored five, conceded two). Their current top scorer this season is midfielder Kyprianou with two.
Rams vs Posh History: The two clubs didn't meet competitively until 1963 and it was another decade until the second clash between the sides. Both those matches were FA Cup games and were both won by Derby.
The clubs first met in a league fixture on the opening day of the 1992/93 season when heavily fancied Derby lost 1-0 at London Road. Posh completed the double over us that season with a 3-2 success at the Baseball Ground, a victory which remains their only win on Derby soil.
This is a fixture in which the home side has largely dominated. Only 14 league games have been played with near-identical records for the teams.
    Rams Record vs Posh
    Home:  P 7   W 5   D 1   L 1    F 13  A 7
    Away:   P 7   W 1   D 1   L 5    F 8  A 13
Six wins for each team then with a couple of draws thrown in. Derby are looking to avoid a fifth straight defeat away to Peterborough, with the Rams conceding ten goals in those last four visits.
Derby's only victory on Peterborough territory came courtesy of a 3-0 win in January 2010 with the goals being a Steve Davies penalty followed by a brace from DJ Campbell.
Derby Team News: It would be a tough call predicting the XI Paul Warne selects as - to the best of my knowledge - there are injury doubts about Joe Ward, Kane Wilson, Max Bird and Tom Barkhuizen. There is also the possibility of transfers this week. Whatever the personnel available, most Derby fans will be expecting Liam Thompson and Jake Rooney to be given the chance to further showcase their abilities after both added plenty to the overall Derby performance against Fleetwood. The feelgood factor watching the younger Rams play well was the biggest boost I left the ground with today and hopefully next to get league minutes will be Dajaune Brown. To that end, a spot on the bench for him at Posh would be lovely please Mr Warne.
Summary: This is a tough match and if I'm still rolling for the trip to Bolton which follows then I'll be pleasantly surprised. We shouldn't fear anyone in this division but I think it's fair to acknowledge that Peterborough are a more settled team than us right now and that a draw - and especially another improved performance - would represent a decent return as well as ending that four-match run of defeats in this particular fixture.
