Have no problem with making a change if he believes in Warne but do it in the summer or next, do it start of Jan even

Clearly the vast majority of the signings suited how Rosenior wanted us to play, and barely any of them suit Warne. Under Rosenior, we would have been looking at tweaks in January. Under Warne, if we’re persisting with the 352, I genuinely think we need at least a dozen new players. And that’s simply not happening given the financial restrictions.
You’re absolutely right that it’s not Warne’s fault, but if he wasn’t prepared to work with the style of player here, he simply should never of been given the job. Or Rosenior should not have been given free reign to sign who he wanted.

Agreed, Sibley was one of our brighter points in the 10 role. He is completely wasted as a left wing back, especially when you have two left back options on the pitch...

How is it blinkered and narrow minded to not employ a bloke whose whole style is alien to the players we've got? Like I said before, I don't particularly want his brand of players or football. I don't want us to be turned into Rotherham, lumping it long in front of 30,000 people whilst defending against Port Vale. Oh wait I've already seen that happen.

Mehhh, it’s a bit of both. Rosenior reminded me of Clement (even down the the parallel of trying to introduce running power to your midfield by playing your Irish academy graduate up-front).
You need runners to go alongside the creativity. Warne’s just going too far the other way.
Alarm bells rang after his first or second post-matcher when he said we’re trying too many intricate triangles in the final third.
We’re now leaving our wing-back to beat 2/3 players as bodies pile into the box.

Agreed but Bird is caught inbetween at the moment and isn't being utilised the correct way.

I just want to say how lucky you are to have Paul Warne as manager. I've supported the millers for 69 years. Obviously, I've seen managers come and go during that period. As far as I'm concerned, and many other fans Warne is the best manager we've had.
Like Derby fans we went through some dark times. Administration points deducted, lost our ground, forced to play in Sheffield in an athletic stadium. No atmosphere, 4 years in the 4th division.
Paul has many qualities. Excellent staff management, a workaholic. He's articulate, honest and will live and breathe Derby County.
I thank him for all the memories, 3 Wembley wins 3 promotions and I wish him well and as a consequence wish the Rams well. I've never had a second team, but for the first time Derby County will be my second team. I look forward to seeing Paul succeed.
Hopefully Derby will be promoted and we survive in the championship and look forward to see you at the New York stadium.
All the best.

I agree, Saffy.
The interview and all the media around it has made me feel uncomfortable, it's all overkill at this stage.
It went on too long - very complicated answers, thought Warne was trying too hard. My comment about the coffee was only partly in jest, he really needs to calm down a bit! Maybe the club could do the same. We've hardly signed up Fergie - and if we have he's more Darren than Alex!
From where I sit, the fans were enjoying the fact we were trying to play football, weren't calling for the manager's head, so there's that bit of unease around the way Liam has been treated. He failed his target - so what was that? We were seventh after the start to the season we had, hardly dismissal material.
As for Warne, I didn't like him before, he's very aggressive on the touchline, a bit of a bully with the officials, I sit above the away dug out so see it every game. Seems to encourage his players in the dark arts, Crooks springs to mind as an example. A good footballer, but playing on the edge of legitimacy all the time - more bullying.
I think some players will respond well to him, but others? I don't know. I know I wouldn't want my boss texting me all hours with snippets - there needs to be boundaries, imo.
So, all that touchy feely stuff left me feeling a bit underwhelmed.
However, what I did like, was when he started talking tactics. He suddenly grabbed my attention and I liked what I was hearing. My fears about the sort of football we're going to see have subsided somewhat, especially as we've not got those sorts of players available to him (currently).
If he can deliver what he says, and if he can tone it down a bit, I'll be happy. But I'm not in the fanclub yet!
