  1. I don't know why everyone is getting so upset about this.

Didn't you hear the bit of his interview where our Mel insisted administration was a "great opportunity" for us?

He also said "this isn't the end for Derby County" in a way that suggested we should be grateful for his reassuring words of wisdom with regards our club actually continuing to exist beyond this season.

It's all part of the masterplan.

    The Derby way.

Thanks Mel, for a minute there I was worried.

  2. We’re always looking to take on domestic cleaners to cover Derbyshire and East Staffordshire.

Monday to Friday, no early mornings, evenings or weekends. Full time and part time positions available.

No experience necessary but must hold a full UK driving license.

Message me on here or call 01283351770 for more details.

Well guys I say we keep behind the lads and show them our love but towards the efl we need to show them our anger at them. It is bad enough that dragged our good name through the mud. But even worse they kepted money that could well have needed so mel could pay back money we owe to people.

Well time is now to fight for our club and if efl think this is over by the fans they very very very sadly wrong.

Give it up B4, it’s game over.

They'd be a riot if the home season ticket holders found out that the away fans were getting charged less than the average match day price of their season ticket

I think “riot” is a little strong.

I have a season ticket and would have no problem with away fans being charged less than my pro-rata match day price.

An away day is a totally different thing, the overall cost is much higher and the more away fans there are the better the atmosphere which can only be a good thing for everyone’s match day experience.

Well nobody expects us to win against WBA and they will take us lightly so maybe this will play right into our hands if I was roony I be telling them we had a blip on friday night and Birmingham city but time try and make upto the fans. Just go out there and give everything we have just play your football and dont be afraid to take it to them.

I don’t think you can argue we haven’t gone out and “played our football” in every game so far this season.

The problem is it isn’t good enough to get positive results against most teams in the division.

It’s funny how attitudes and priorities change with supporters. In recent seasons the fans have indicated they would be happy if we try and play good football and take it to the opposition. The results might not be there but at least we had a go.

I would imagine as the weeks go by and points go by the wayside there will be increasing unrest and the “Rooney out” threads will resurface.

    Damned if you do…….

    Rooneys got my sympathy here.

Playin some good football and creating some chances but absolute dead heads making mistakes constantly are costing us.

he can’t be making that back pass for buchanan. He can’t be playing the pass for Lawrence or not being beat at his near post for Roos.

Rooney’s setting us up to play that way. The players are not good/technical enough to play around at the back like that for 90 minutes.

I can set up a team to play like that on Championship Manager but there are no consequences. If it goes wrong I can just turn it off and turn it back on again. No harm done.

There’s only one way this season is going to end.

I have said this before, but I bet nobody whose seat would have been dearer this season is writing to the club demanding that they be allowed to pay more to get them in line with people around them!

The club has simplified the pricing structure and there will be winners and losers, but I think this is one thing we shouldn't be beating the club up about.

Rams TV was worth every penny of the difference in my season ticket price imo. They were my lifeline in very strange times last season.

I think you’re being over generous to the club here.

I have had a great seat on the half way line for many years and been prepared to pay a premium for it. Would I swap that for a seat looking at the corner flag for the same price? No chance.

I agree free RAMS TV was an unexpected bonus last year, I’m not sure why they needed to do that?!

    Thats what they're getting.

The noise/atmosphere today was better than anything last season with 27000+ in attendance.

I think having a team to watch who actually look like they care makes a big difference.

When was the last time a 0-0 draw was greeted at the end by a standing ovation?

This post about creating email addresses is really helpful.

It also covers why everyone has to have an ID.

I’m afraid this is due to the covid regulations the club has to have the details for every supporter attending the game.

one way to ease the pain on this is if you have a google email is you can put . Anywhere in your original emaiL to create unique addresses as far as dcfc are concerned but all tickets go to you main address

Thanks for the tip, I'm sure I'll sort it later.

I think it is just the overall frustration of the way the club is run at the moment. Yes of course the COVID rules have to be adhered to and respected, it's a way of life now and we all have to get used to it.

It's the other stuff as I mentioned in my previous post about other revenue streams being shut down with no explanation. It makes no sense.

A bit of honesty from the club wouldn't go amiss.

There were bound to have been elderly fans who had absolutely no idea how to obtain their tickets at the weekend. Tickets they have probably already paid for.

NDA's relating to takeovers is one thing, taking loyal supporters for mugs is something else entirely.

  10. I thought I'd take my two daughters aged 7 and 4 to their first game tomorrow night - nice weather, not too busy etc etc.

I tried to buy tickets on-line but have given up for now. It seems I have to create fan ID's for them and they need unique email addresses (they're 7 & 4)?!

I just don't get what is going on at the moment. We're in financial meltdown yet all the revenue streams have been culled. The Yard and coffee shop were shut on Saturday, we have no ticket office and the concourses are serving a "limited range" of items.

Can someone who understands the financial complexities of a football club on it's knees explain why this would be? Can we not afford to pay the staff and/or suppliers?

    What an absolute farce.
