Do you think is a deliberate ploy to make the blackout the bad party rather than sky? Leading to it being scrapped and then sky just stream everything
There has to be sweet spot somewhere where you could sell match day tickets much cheaper to almost guarantee a full house every week (so no justification for 3.00pm Saturday blackout) whilst still making the games available to stream at the same time to make up the deficit.
The blackout was introduced in the 1960's yet still remains in place despite an almost unimaginable evolution in the way the audience can consume sports coverage. Why do we still have to adhere to 60 year old legislation when there are so many more viable solutions?
Live football at 3.00pm on a Saturday is a totally different experience to a Monday night or Sunday bloody lunchtime.

The 3.00pm blackout is still in place so expect most of our home games to be obscure days and times. They're not going to move the "flagship" Premier League spots so most likely Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes which I expect will annoy most and spell the end of matchday rituals. Such a shame.

I know it's not the league title, but we won promotion 🤩 So do we think there will be an open top bus through derby? I'd imagine the streets would be packed.
I really hope there is. Another opportunity to show our appreciation to everyone at the club.
Bank holiday Monday provisionally agreed but not confirmed as happening yet by the club.

If anyone knows of any pubs opening early in Derby on Saturday to help calm pre-match nerves can you please post on here for everyone’s benefit. Thank you!

Hi all, I have 2 tickets in the Hollies Stand for tomorrow's T20 international at Edgbaston but I can't go now.
Face value is £59.00 per ticket but happy to accept £50.00 for the pair. Tickets can be emailed straight to you.
If anyone is interested please let me know.

I reckon they forgot to give the win wall a fresh lick of paint in the close season.

Some performance by Man City so far - 2-0 after 36 minutes….
The “celebrations” of some of their “fans” when the goals go in are laughable. Polite clapping and mobile phones everywhere you look. On the verge of a Champions League final and the atmosphere is pitiful. Imagine Pride Park in the same scenario.

Fewer 3pm kick offs may be of interest/concern to you.
Virtually no Saturday 3.00pm games if we’re in the Championship, fair chance not many if we’re in League 1 as we’re likely to be chosen as one of the 5 games more often than not. Sounds horrible to me.

He's talking b******* then . Much as Derbys a great club, the only player who'll ever turn down a contract at AC Milan to come here is Eranio and that's because after 10 years there winning everything he was bored.

He confirmed back in 2019 that AC Milan made an offer for him before we moved in. He seems a really decent lad who’s had rotten luck with his injuries. Sliding doors and all that.

Huge point, fantastic defensive performance. The turnaround in our away performances is significant.

Zero pace in that side. Strange but still hopeful!

He's been man of the match in there last 3 internationals. Sadly, we didn't make best use of him in his natural position from the get go this season. If we had, I'd expect we'd have a fair few more points and seen better from Hourihane. As it is, with no advancement with contract talks noted since September, I expect he will move on in January. Won't begrudge it as he was pretty much the only one true to his word after last seasons end of season exodus and hasn't moaned or used dodgy employment law to force a move or gone on holiday to Amsterdam via Udinese to get a move.
I sat on a table next to him and his agent in a restaurant a few weeks ago. I didn’t hear everything thing but “November”, “Norwich” and “West Brom” were all used in the same sentence. Make of that what you will.

Not sure where the high energy high press has gone, we seem to be standing off and watching them at the moment.

The players he has don't really fit the way he wants to play. He is a strange appointment to make after we've signed a load of players to play a completely different way. Long and frustrating season ahead I guess.
It’s Groundhog Day. Again.

Hi all. I want to get to some 50 over games this year and was wondering where the best place to sit for the best view/access to food and drink etc is at the County Ground?
Any help much appreciated!

I was initially shocked and disappointed but on reflection a total reset is what we need. So much emotional baggage and skeletons in the closet from the MM era. The players close to WR will probably not now re-sign and so be it.
New owner, new manager and new players is exactly what we need.

I don’t know what a reel is or how you make them but that is amazing.
Good luck Max, a strange career move in the eyes of many but you’re doing what you need to do. I hope you smash it (and have a great time) in Bristol.
