Come on guys - getting the viewpoint of fans of other clubs certainly enriches life’s tapestry.
I enjoy getting to see how Derby are viewed from the outside.
Yes, those that come on trying to antagonise are not welcome, but sometimes we have to accept that constructive feedback may be a slightly bitter pill.  Such as the unfortunate fact that we are not currently as big a draw as teams that we feel are naturally below us in the pecking order.
And just because we have had a cretinous fan from a particular club (in this case, Bristol City, who incidentally didn’t come onto our forum), it doesn’t give us the right for incivilities towards other fans “who aren’t part of our gang”.

I’m afraid I have side with @Jimbo Ram rather than these ITK fantasists.
For the record I know all five, but I can only offer that they’ll be outfield players, or possibly goalkeepers, and I will confirm whether they are correct just after they are announced.

Home game against Palace to secure promotion to the Prem in 1996, Man Utd 2, Derby 3 1997 (the Wanchope game), Derby 3 Arsenal 0, first year at PP I think, there was a game at PP v Southampton where we won 4.0 from memory and I missed the goals as I had to leave early to go on holiday. In those early PP years under Jim we could beat anyone

With respect, anyone not coming to the view that BJ was a liar isn’t in any strong position to question my opinion.

I can’t believe we still haven’t signed anyone … time to ask for a refund on my season ticket! 

But as @Foreveram says, just because he does well at Oxford (if he does)it doesn't mean he would have fitted in at Derby. Too many ifs buts and maybes to be too critical of our recruitment strategy.
Plus, as I said, perhaps Oxford have decided he is their key signing, and therefore pulled out all the stops to get him, whereas maybe we need to recruit more and therefore need to spread our investment over a bigger number of players.

Completely understand the feeling of disappointment with McGoldrick leaving.
Can't completely understand the frustration with the club.
In terms of that departure, I'm not sure what we could have expected the club to do in that situation? 
The player has dropped a level, even took a pay cut to join Notts County, whilst our rivals may see that as some kind of embarrassment, they are clearly ignoring minor details such as seeing out his career at the club he supports.
Absolutely no embarrassment or shame in that transfer, in fact it's refreshing to see whilst the superstars of the game are chasing that Saudi money.
You can't help but wish him all the best and hope he has that fairy tale end to his career.
In terms of our own transfer activity or lack of so far, even if we were to sign 10 players today, our first pre season friendly is 5 weeks away.
We're not on the eve of the first game with no pre season training with the new players.
If you want to fully believe every single transfer rumour, that's more on you than the club itself, if you have been a football fan for any length of time during this social media era, you should know how it all works.
I personally wasn't expecting much if anything until the end of the month at the earliest. The transfer window itself doesn't even officially open until Wednesday.
I thought the forum would be also be pretty quiet without the drama.
Anyhow, McGoldrick, you won't be reading this but once again, thanks for everything, wish you all the best at Notts County, hope it works out for you and you can help lift them into League 1.
