A tremendous effort by the heritage team and all memorabilia was superbly presented - at last - real steps towards a Rams heritage space at PPS are moving forward. It's been promised since the stadium was in the planning stages!
Very enjoyable afternoon and great to meet the R H T folks. You can be very proud of the exhibition and here's to many more!

We’ve lost a lot of talented potential over the last couple of years due to our situation. We’ve not been able to see how they could have flourished if they’d have stayed and gained first team experience.
On the subject in hand, Wassall has done a good job and stepped in wherever we’ve needed him.
The dogs abuse he got when he replaced Mac was completely uncalled for.
He’s seen the academy through good and bad times and always done a good job.

Shame to see him go and good luck to him!

    Here we go😂
Given how litigious Gibbo proved to be last season with the Derby saga I'm already anticipating this. Don't know the ins and outs of the Burnley situation but the fact is both teams above us in the table are currently under embargo and it's no doubt going to put his nose out of joint if we miss out on the autos to them. He'd arguably have a stronger case as well, assuming we remain in 3rd, as he could point to us directly missing out on automatic promotion rather than his argument hinging on the possibility that we went up through the playoffs.
all he would have is financial compensation as an option, but agree payout could be potentially a lot more but not sure it be the same as actual promotion or even close, at least he has set precident in this league
Imo the EFL need to somehow do more to stop these clubs before they actually commit the offences otherwise it only serves to make a mockery of the integrity of the league. These things can have huge ramifications in the promotion/relegation picture. How is it fair for half of the league to abide by the rules, cutting their cloth accordingly and in most cases selling their better players in order to pass FFP and remain solvent, while the other half of the league fragrantly flaunts the rules. Imagine the advantage we would have had were Sheff Utd forced to cash in on Ndiaye or Berge in January to pay off their debts.
Even if nothing happens, I'm sure Gibsons team of lawyers are on standby for if we don't go up. There'll be a compensation claim that's for sure. And the efl will know that, so it may be in their best interests to punish.

To Derby County fans of a certain age this man was God, he was our generations Kevin Hector, his name would reverberate around the Baseball Ground for many years, even long after he had left us, it was his goals that dragged us kicking and screaming up the football league, Peter Taylor’s last moment of genius to add to those many legends he had spotted years before with his mate Brian.
Bobby is a super proud man, he still doesn’t understand the cult hero status that he holds in Derby with the fans, I think that it is a sad reflection on football that he is now working as a baggage handler at Leeds airport.
He should be walking around in diamond encrusted shoes, driving his Aston Martin, he has tried numerous years to let back into the club as a coach with the youth team but that became impenetrable under a certain individual and also MM.
He worked at St George’s for the FA for a number of years.
In my eyes he is an absolute legend of Derby County, an absolute idol as a kid, when everybody else had the keegans, dalglshes and Linekers we had Bobby, we might have been in the third division but it didn’t matter !
he never missed those one on ones with the keeper, he got his head in where it hurt and he had that great 80s moustache.
so heres to you Bobby Davison, Derby loves you more than you will know !

Really like this initiative so made our way over to the hub before the game on Saturday to buy £20 worth. Lovely guy at the door who spent 10 minutes telling me all about his struggles with his mental health and how much the community trust had helped him. Said he would never have been able to talk to fellow fans without the confidence he had gained through them and had learned how to help others which in turn helped him. Nervous as hell but he wanted to do his bit to repay them. Makes you realise just what a positive effect any form of community outreach can have and what a strong brand dcfc is. Loved hearing his story and all he told me about the various things the club do to support in areas I wasn't aware of. Whoever you were you are a truly inspiring man. Keep up the great work.

This is by far the worst aspect of it all even now. Why punish the club and new owner further by not being to sign the few remaining youngsters on longer contracts (not talking huge wages) just longer contracts? Also protects the youngsters themselves

As soon as MM put us into Administration the EFL and Gibson had us over a barrel.
That's why I wish Mel had kept funding the Club. I really would have liked to see him take the EFL to court over the points deductions and Gibson to court over the extortion.

I think the EFL rules preventing DCFC from extending the contracts of Academy professionals on low wages and offering professional contracts to players turning 17 robbed DCFC of sufficient players to run functioning teams below 1st team level, put additional strain on those youngsters left behind, presented bargains to clubs that we owed nothing to, and potentially robbed unsecured creditors from receiving further funds over and above what any prospective owner was willing to pay (eg : if DCFC had been able to extend Ebosele's  contract on the proviso that any profit from a future transfer was split in an agreed proportion between the club and unsecured creditors, it would at least have meant potentially more money for creditors and no unearned bargain for Udineseford. It would also have meant that, in the event that the club was liquidated, the EFL would have been able to claim higher compensation from any club wishing to acquire their registrations). Their short-sighted rule also, in the case of Ebosele, meant that his Irish club missed out on a healthy sell-on fee.

Yes will be interested to see if other clubs take unilateral action now that Wycombe and Boro have set a precedent in law. This for me was the shameful part of the entire story, in that the EFL facilitated it.

With you Curtains. It was a gross injustice that has led us to here. This sums up my view on it.
I hope very bad things happen to all the people at the EFL involved or who stood idly by and didn't stop the wrongdoing on the part of their organization.

Unless he had a spare £50m+ burning a hole in his back pocket, I suspect not.  It was a matter of time until HMRC or MSD came calling for what we owe them.  And having the stadium and training ground repossessed by MSD possibly would have put us in a worse position.
In terms of the EFL, there's no doubt we were badly treated.  Having the ground valued by a guy that knew nothing about valuing sports stadiums.  The amortization charge off the back of an "expert" who literally did not know the rules he was supposedly an expert on. Points deductions for offences under rules that were subsequently changed to make sure other clubs didn't break them.  Various demands that the administrators break the law or they'd kick us out of the league.  Rewriting administration law on a whim to benefit the  parasite clubs.  An apparently harsher enforced business-plan than any other club has been forced under.  I could go on...

Our rep was taken ill at the last minute , too late for anyone else to get down to Pride Park to cover. Each group is only allowed one rep now, we previously used to send two.
Quite a few of the questions listed (but not all) were submitted by RT members after we emailed them last week and sent to the club prior to the meeting and these were all answered in the meeting and covered in the notes.
I submitted the question about possible changes to the business plan based on the extensive discussion on the transfer thread here so hope that helps answer that query for those debating it.
All groups trying to work together to represent as many fans' views as possible. B&WT produced notes this time  - very quickly -  and these were agreed by all groups before we each sent out to our "audiences".
The Club is taking liaison very seriously as you can see from the level of representation from them at the meeting.
I think it's great news that the fan forums will be reinstated eventually, as hopefully will be a form of away travel soon.
We are all trying to listen to fans' concerns and obviously there will always be some niche questions as well as the broader ones.

By insisting that the case be heard at the EFL Tribunal rather than in a court of law, which meant that the case could continue to hang over us. The case was so weak that it would have never made it to  court of law. Parry then refused to define whether the claim was a football or non-football debt, which again could have determined the effect of the claim against us. Instead it hung there preventing any attempt to be brought out of administration. Parry made some of the right noises, but in reality I don't think hen lifted a finger to help us until we had been consigned to relegation, which was his aim all along.
