This would be a diabolical signing. I am not a great lover of signings like this.  

It was was that! Local ale for £2 a pint in the beer tent IIRC

How anyone can look beyond Max Bird for young player of the SEASON is beyond me.
The ‘kid’ has started 38 games this season and barely been substituted! His pass completion from nearly 2000 passes is 82%, he averages nearly 50 passes a game, he has scored twice and has 2 assists from a deep midfield position for a team that’s effectively in the bottom 8 of the championship!!!
How Cashin / Festy / Plange / Thompson (as well as they’ve done) can be voted for ahead of him after just a handful of games is incredible. Each to their own I guess but for me Player of the Season should be exactly that and criteria no 1 should be having played more than half the games!!!

As good a first half performance as I have seen from us in a good while - we are a little bit sloppy at the back, giving them the odd chance, but generally we have dominated the game with some wonderful passages of play.
everyone has been playing well - Lawrence and festy the stand-outs for me but Bielik also class - but everyone has been superb - lets be honest, we have played with swagger and confidence, the press is great, just a perfect performance so far.

Bielik and Bird could be the core of a Prem midfield for us one day. Plenty of time.

Just not been good enough anywhere on the pitch today. 
I think we made the mistake in starting CKR, really had nothing to change it up. Ebosele is NOT a forward.
Feel a bit sorry for Forsyth  too, who has been excellent in recent weeks. Buchanan has been second best all afternoon, needed someone with a bit more experience to handle their excellent winger.
Midfield totally outclassed by older, stronger players. We lost the physical battle, but also lack that bit of class up front, that Forest have got. Maybe the occasion got to our young lads too?
Lawrence penalty came out of the blue and at least made the last few minutes interesting.
Morrison's red card puts the top hat on it. Three possible red cards and we lost that 2-1 too!
We need to get this one out of our system and regroup for the important games ahead.

I assume that any further delay this week will be down to the Ghislaine Maxwell verdict. The EFL is surely thumbing through its regulations to work out how many more points they can deduct. Mark Lawrenson and Oxford United are also apparently in talks with Steve Gibson about joining a class action suit against us.
