Ramarena reacted to Jourdan in Experienced manager
Where is the evidence that no-one would touch the Derby job at the moment and Rooney is the best man for the job?
They are both assumptions which can’t be tested while the job is unavailable.
By the same token, I could say if Rooney left tomorrow, there would be tens of managers lining up to take on the challenge of reviving a club like ours.
Managers will always be judged come what may, and you can only take it as it comes. The circumstances will never be optimal, so why wait to judge Rooney?
Rooney has been given a more than fair chance if you consider he’s not even officially qualified to do the job.
Backing the manager is fine, but we came within a whisker of relegation whilst playing uninspiring football and we have won three league games since the spring.
You can’t be surprised that some fans will still have reservations over the manager, surely? This is modern football and managers are scrutinised more fiercely than ever.

We don’t know that do we. I bet plenty would apply if the job became available……..

I'd rather have gene wilder than Rooney....

Agree..you get the feeling that as his confidence grows he could easily become a regular 20 a season player..

What was i saying the other day about Graeme Shinnie leaving absoluely everything on the pitch , immense performance yet again from our reigning player of the season , would also like to praise the work rate of Sam Baldock , hes made a difference to our attacking play , with clever movement and blindside runs

People go on about negative Derby fans...but he has literally just won one game and suddenly we don't need any experience and he is drawing comparisons with an early Alex Ferguson!
I'm very cautious and I hope short term a corner has been turned but I don't see any medium term future that doesn't end badly. However, if he can keep some upward trajectory and us lower to mid-table for the season then that's perfectly acceptable to me. Preferably we get taken over and a fresh start includes a new manager but no point waiting around and sulking for that to happen.
Personally I don't see him as a Fergie-type in a million years...but maybe as a man who leads not with words but by attitude, personal performance and sheer desire /will to win, so if he can drag us short term to a better place like an early Roy Keane or Bryan Robson then I can get behind that.

He could struggle to get another managerial job at a decent championship club after he finishes at DCFC.

Ramarena reacted to Dean (hick) Saunders in Embargo.
Anyone else think that due to COVID and the apparent low level of transfer activity across the division, that we could have a more successful season than would otherwise have (normal none COVID) where other teams will have been able to recruit much better than our freebies.. IE things have been levelled down to our mediocre standing.

Ramarena reacted to Kernow in Ravel Morrison
He was a gamble that not many sides would have taken. We didn't really have too much choice.
I hope he comes good and I'm glad he has started his career well with us. But if he stays fit and features in every game, then before the end of January, we'll become the club he has appeared for the most in his career. He's 28 years old.
I still have some concerns, for example a few days before he signed, posting a story and unfollowing the Club on social media etc. It sounds minor, but I would be worried that he might still fly off the handle like he has with other teams, because we really can't afford any player to do that this season.
However I'll judge him on his performances and conduct for Derby only, and it's so far so good, so right now I'm glad we have a player with the quality of Ravel Morrison.

Wouldn’t it be lovely for us, the Club, and Ravel for it to work out properly and we get a few seasons out of him.

But its not last season anymore, that's done with, for the club to move forward in terms on takeovers and stuff this needs to end, then no point dragging it our with more appeals etc

I think this makes sense as a mutual consent punishment. The EFL have been previewing our accounts and negotiating an appropriate set of accounts and short term financial future.
We agree to 3 points without appealing, they take us out off embargo and leave us alone. They get half a pound of flesh and we get to independently operate again.

Wonder if he catches it or punches could be quite messy. ?

His kikcking is better than Carson and Marshall who are both international keepers. Every keeper got a mistake in them, Alison, Ederson, Loris (WC final no less). I agree with cant command his box but this season with Jag and Davies it shouldnt be as much of an issue. He has got the size so as long as the crowd support him and does not make him nervous by clapping ironically an easy catch he could improve this side of his game. We've got other areas where we need improve ahead of the GK position i think

His radio Derby interview was on as we got back in the car after the match, all going well until he managed to drop an eff bomb in! It was quite funny though, he was describing the performance today and said something like “we effing deserved it”! Thankfully it’s the only clanger he’s dropped all season, long may it continue, I really like him, keep up the good work Kelle!

Very pleased for him, he is growing nicely into the role of our #1 keeper.
The criticism of him was at times over the top.

Ramarena reacted to Anag Ram in Derby County vs Middlesbrough
After the first twenty minutes I thought we’re going to struggle here. Only Shinnie seemed to fancy a challenge against Ikpeazu and others looked intimidated by Middlesbrough’s physical players. Few looked like they really wanted the ball and when we got it we looked hurried.
But we gutsed it out and grew in confidence on the ball. I felt sorry for Baldock who had to come deeper and deeper to get the ball. He had no chance against McNair and Fry and whilst we played some nice stuff, it was difficult to see where goals would come from. I couldn’t understand why we persisted in launching balls into the box where Boro dominated.
Dijksteel looked sharp for them and I was pleased to get to half time at nil nil even though we had more of the ball.
It didn’t get any easier second half. Our midfield three all play deep and that invites pressure. Sibley, Jozwiak and Baldock couldn’t keep the ball long enough and it became a rearguard action.
Yet still we managed two reasonable chances. Watson had the chance to be a hero but snatched at his volley. Stretton cleverly manufactured a volley but dragged it wide.
Overall, I was pleased with the effort and togetherness but we will need different forwards if we are to progress.
Neat football is pointless without players who can take chances.
It was great to be back at Pride Park, even if the fans behind me gave me a headache with their tirade against the officials!

Can someone possibly provide the clip where the 2 Boro players ran into each other and the ref gave a free kick to them?
